355ml bottle from The Beer Cellar. Golden amber colour with a thin wispy head. Easy to drink and a great label.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured a clear pale golden colour with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished fairly quickly and laced poorly. Carbonation medium with medium sized bubbles forming trails. Aroma of musty grain and sweet malt but very subdued. Taste sweetish but not much at all. Light body. Smooth, light, clean, crisp and easy to drink. I’m not a kolsch fan but this one is OK.

Pours out a crisp golden color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is slightly fruity, just like the taste. Medium carbonation with a standard kind of taste. Perfectly average bit of suds, nothing special but worth the try.

Bottled at Mccarrenn. Yellow pour, standard grain and nothing really that special here for a kolsch. OK overall.

On tap while on vacation in Alaska. I thought this one was pretty good. A nice clean quenching taste.

Tap - fair sized foamy head, medium gold color, light sweet malty aroma and flavor, mild hop profile, not much too it overall - was expecting a little more

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A kolsch to fit in with the Germans. Light golden straw color with nice snappy malt flavor. Poured into my favorite Fruh stange, only to have the wind knock it over and smash it into a million pieces. But the beer was very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is lightly malty with a touch of floral hops. Light pale malt flavor, rather crisp with a very minimal bitterness. Clean finish. Light bodied with soft gentle carbonation. Decent enough, but not a whole lot if character.

12oz bottle. Bright golden color, clear, small head, looks better than other kölsches I’ve had. Fresh aroma, different enough not to mistake this for another style, definitely a "crafty" smell. Nice pilsner-ish taste, it’s not very complex, but gets points for a decent palace and good carbonation, also a little spice in the taste. I don’t know if it’s a whale, but it’s got a whale tail for sure. Better than expected, still not a huge fan of the style.

Draft. From notes. Fruity and slightly bitter. Decent summer seasonal. Crisp and refreshing.
