TheKegergator (241), California, USA Mar 2, 2007 Nothing special here. A simple brew with nothing offending in it, just nothing really good. guzzler67 (1272), Hanover, Maryland, USA Feb 13, 2007 Clear golden/yellow appearance with a small white head and little lacing. Sweet malt aroma with layers of fruit and wheat. Mild sweet taste, fruity, with the hops more evident in the finish. A late arriving gift enjoyed as an Artic blast sweeps over a frigid February evening. BrewSquid (45), Plattsburg, Missouri, USA Dec 9, 2006 Kolsch is a much neglected but wonderful beer style seldom found in the US marketplace. If ’light beer’ existed amoungst ales, Kolsch would be that beer. The barley and wheat malts are balanced very nicely by the ’noble’ German hops. I only wish I could get this beer near my home! iamsancho16 (99), USA Nov 17, 2006 This beer has quickly become one of the favorites from the Alaskan Brewing Company. There has been a buzz surrounding this beer ever since it’s relase, and for good reason. Give this beer a try. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Nov 4, 2006 Bottle. Pours a weak gold with a small head and no lacing. Aroma is banana and carrot. Flavor is carboard banana with a touch of honey. Pleasant mouthfeel. Perhaps when I drink this in the Land Of The Midnight Sun it will be better. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Nov 4, 2006 12oz bottle. Clear yellow with thin white head. Light aroma of crisp citrus hops, sweet and pale malts. Flavor starts with sweet malts then some crisp hops join the fun. Midway the sweet malts overtake the hops leaving a sweet aftertaste. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Sep 21, 2006 Bottle. Grain aroma along with some spice. Gold body with decent white head. Flavor had a malty body along with some citrus lemon notes. Had that aluminum can flavor also. Common beer that swill would be just as good at a better price. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA Sep 14, 2006 Pours a clear gold, white head is minimal. Flavor is sweet toasted malt with slightly spicy hops. There is also a hint of orange throughout. Nice!!
