COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just when you’ve had enough of winter, we release Alaskan Summer Ale in March. This traditional Kölsch beer is a great way to celebrate warmer weather and more daylight. Its crisp, clean flavor is the perfect complement for crab, halibut, salads and longer days.

Malty, tight, and crisp. Pretty flat with not much head. Not a strong beer. Pairs with food well. Not bad.

Somewhat flat. Has a sweet, carmel-like taste. Not my favorite, but totally drinkable.

22 june 2012, bottle. yellow, clear, no bubbles, no head. nose is sweet malty lager. thin body and moderately fizzy. this is actually kind of nice. has some slight banana notes rather than typical straw lager taste. nice

The beer pours a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat with some grain and a hint of grape vine. The flavor is similar, with some nice wine-like notes mixed in with some yeast, wheat and white pepper. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A nice kolsch, glad Alaskan is now available in Texas.

Gold, not much head. A bit light in flavor and not much bitterness. It’s not my favorite style, but this one is drinkable.

Kind of disappointing aromatics are weak, color is nice, palate is thin, taste is average. Would be great on a hot sunny day though!

Nice clear golden, quick white head. Bread and hay in the nose, hops there too but very subdued. Light, sweet and malty across the tongue. Slightly fizzy on the way out with a touch of dryness. Decent Kölsch.

Great beer. Normally a fan of dark dark stuff but this is a worthy equivalent in a light beer. Super light but doesn?t taste cheap. absolutely no bitterness (for better or worse). Solid loud body but no overwhelming flavors. Mild corn aroma. Nice head.

Nice golden yellow pour. It is a nice kolsch style beer and it fits the summer beer model very well

Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is faint malt and a hint if citrus. Taste is a bit of sweetness and not much else.
