Really an odd malt bomb considering the style. It is by no means REALLY malty but it might be the most malty kolsch i’ve ever had. Pours a dark almost amber color with no head and very few bubbles. aroma is malt forward with a hint of the expected kolsch yeast. taste is sweet with caramel malts and no noticeable hop presence. palate is a bit sticky and not super refreshing. overall it is a slightly unexpected and not entirely welcomed take on the style.

Btl pours clear golden color with a fluffy white head, big bubbles that linger for awhile leaving spotty lace on glass. Aroma of grass, sweet malts and flowery hops. Tastes of lightly sweet malts, faint breadiness, spicy and floral hops. Light body, smooth clean mouthfeel, tingling carbonation and a slick dry finish. Easy to drink summer ale that has very subtle flavors.

This is a solid drinking brew. I like the brand flake nose and flavor that is present and the lagerish taste is not overwhelming but complements the beer on the finish.

Mild aroma of sweet bread, and notes of some fruit zest. Nice golden color with a thin white head. Crisp malt up front. Sweet bread notes mixed with a mild bitteness that mixes well. Nice example of a Kolsch. Finishes with some lingering bitteness. Refreshing.

Gold pour with slight haze. Nose is light and fruity with some light maltiness. Flavor is cross between wheat ale and hefeweizen with light fruity yeast esters. Okay, but a little different.
