Great beer. Normally a fan of dark dark stuff but this is a worthy equivalent in a light beer. Super light but doesn?t taste cheap. absolutely no bitterness (for better or worse). Solid loud body but no overwhelming flavors. Mild corn aroma. Nice head.

Typical of the style, but clean, nice. Malty, grassy aroma. The flavor follows. Sweet. The finish is sweet, light noble hops. Decent overall.

Bottle. Thanks to Terri and Mark for sharing. Pours a blonde amber with a large white head. Aroma of Germanic yeast and multivitamins. Flavor is sweet with no bitterness. Can’t even detect aroma hops. Not fizzy enough for a summer beer. Just boring.

From bottle poured into a pint glass. Nice head and nice golden body. Taste exactly how you would expect a kolsch to taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - pours clear golden with medium white head. Nose of grain, grass, and cloves. Taste is of grain, sweet grass, and malt. Easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle. Clear golden with white head. Aroma is honey, caramel malt, and grass. Taste is similar, with quite a sweet honey profile. A little too heavy for a kölsch, but a nice summer ale.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2014 Aroma - sweet hay. Appearance - appears darker than how it tastes, has look as if it should have fuller taste. It is a kolsch though, it?s not supposed to be super hoppy.

Draft at The Oak. Bright, clear gold pour with a small ring of head and a little lacing. Aroma is sweet, grainy malt with some flowers and hay. Tastes crisp and sweet. Honey candy, flowers, sweet cereal grain, and a light fruitiness. An above average kolsch.

Pours an amazingly clear ale with bright white head and average lacing. Slightly metallic aroma, with a hint of skunkiness like a Heineken. Lightly sweet palate with a pleasant candy flavor. Just light, not a major characteristic of the beer. A rather nice and drinkable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ok beer. Wheat really overwhelms this beer. Not really on my taste pallet.

On tap at Dan's the pour is a light clear gold with a lack of head and no lacing. The aroma is light and lemongrassy. There is a great Kolsch presence. The flavor is really light. The lemongrass comes through, but this is just the same Kolsch beers that I've had in the past. Light citrusy, pretty good. The mouth feel is light and slightly carbonated. The aftertaste is crisp, clean and quick ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
