Draft at Pizza Port, Carlsbad. A light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit, peaches, and oranges, as well as notes of vitamin pills. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of peaches and citrus, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin. Boring.

From tap at Pizza Port, Carlsbad. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and light hoppy aroma. Mild spiced and hoppy flavour. Quite dry and light spiced. A bit flat in the finish yet bitter, slight spiced and mild fruity at once in a lasting mix.

Bottled from Spokane, WA. Clear golen, no head. Fruity and fairly light bodied with notes of grass, herbal spices and wheat crackers. Finishes with medium spicy bitterness. A reasonable approximation of the style.

Bottled (thanks Kalevi Kurronen!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, hops, a bit earthcellary. Flavour is caramel malts, fruits, some herbs and mild earthy notes.

(Bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small white head. Aroma of honey and malt. Flavor of honey, florals, and malt.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head. Has a malty grainy aroma. Crisp malty slightly grainy flavor. Has a malty grainy finish.

Hazy orange color, small white head. Grainy, slightly bready and lemony aroma. Lemony, light lemon, a bit grainy. A bit too bready and American hoppy for being "a real kölsch".
