Sweet malt aroma with layers of fruit and wheat. Mild sweet taste, fruity, with the hops more evident in the finish. A late arriving gift enjoyed as an Artic blast sweeps over a frigid February evening. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 4, 2007 From a 12oz Bottle. Pours a transparent pale golden color with restrained shades of amber and a healthy layer of foamy white head. A pale doughy malt nose is accompanied by a hint of fruitiness and herbal hops. Light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel. A light cracker maltiness is accompanied by a gentle floral hoppiness. Trace DMS noted. Simple and refreshing, although a cleaner, less corny flavor would make it more so. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 29, 2007 12oz bottle: Pours to a clear golden-light amber color with a small to medium sized white, fizzy head that quickly dies. Large bubbles can be seen quickly rising throughout the beer. The aroma is very mild, I stick my nose into the beer in my attempts to discern the various scents. I get light straw, pale malts, apple seeds, very mild fruity pear or peach, and slight hints of yeast. Taste shows more character adding some flavors of granny smith apple, pale malt (with slight hints of bread), a bit of earthy/floral hops and mild yeast character that shows just the mildest hints of esters but they’re really almost non-noticeable. Light bodied, medium carbonated, finishes with a bit of earthy, leafy bitter hops. OldMrCrow (1206), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a very clear light orange with small headd. The arom is a sour grassy, dusty hops and a bit of grain; the flaavor comes through with a solid warm malt, not dark or rich, just very clearly present if somewhat grainy. Mouthfeel is relatively full and butter/oily consider how easily it goes down.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2005 Nose is a small grassy hay aroma with a splice of bannana and vanilla. Gold colored and a tiny head was created but very quickly formed a thin ring around the perimeter. The flavor is bland and has only a straw grass and malt profile. It’s only a beer for those days in the sun. jcr (1195), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Bottle. Pleasant enough but it lacks the crispness of other Kolsch-style beers. Small white head that disappears. The boy is clear yellow/gold. The aroma is lightly malty with notes of toasted grain and grass. Some light floral notes are below the malt. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish grows a little more bitter. Medium body with a watery texture. Lively carbonation. The medium body and dominant malty sweetness keep this from being something you’d want to take big, quenching sips of. Still, as seemingly uneventful as this is, I wouldn’t turn down another if it were offered.
