chokmah33 (78), Bremerton, Washington, USA May 8, 2008 Updated: Jun 19, 2008 Aroma is fairly hoppy, grass. Smells almost exactly like white wine. Flavor of metalic malts, yeast, some perfumey hops. Lively palate, creamy texture, clean finish. I rock this one every summer.
HoppyGuy (69), USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a sunshine gold color with a very thin white head. There is citrus in the faint aroma. The citrus is repeated in the flavor with a nice hops/malt balance. Good brew, but I prefer a bit more character in my beer. Good beer for a hot summer day. Bradrcr (517), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 29, 2008 6/14/08 On draught at the Washington Brewers Festival. Aroma is very low with just hints of malt. Appearance is clear yellow with a low white head. Flavor is very light with medium noble hop bittering. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a resiny texture. Overall, easy drinking but lacking character. carruthm (204), USA Jun 22, 2008 dark orange, light wheat aroma. malty wheat taste sweetness on nose bitter on finish bulletrain76 (479), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jun 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Gold color with a big, brilliant white head. Light aroma with fruity pear and spicy hops. The flavor has a nice clean malt body with light fruitiness and low bitterness, though enough hop balance to make it interesting. Pretty refreshing, but the fruitiness is a little much after the aroma belies a cleaner taste. alexanderj (1170), Roanoke, Virginia, USA Jun 13, 2008 ON tap; seeing what style it is classified as, it makes a bit more sense. Still this was pretty poor. Aroma was ok, but really light; watery if an aroma can be that. Flavor was dry and grainy; a bit plain. Not much hopping and flavor. Below average for the style for me.
