Murky golden color, thin white head when poured. Very slight aroma of wheat and spice. Refreshing and crisp aftertaste. Great summer beer that pairs well with a good fish fry.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very murky amber with a short lived white head.
The aroma is of ale, but not of Belgian ale. The flavor is cloyingly sweet with a touch of coriander/orange peel, but again, not at all Belgian. For me, change the yeast strain, reduce the caramel malts and let the spices shine through. There are much better Witbiers out there than this, but it is certainly drinkable and inoffensive.

pours a semi-murky gold with a medium white head. Aroma is wheat and faint spice. Taste is bitter, some fruit and spices. Some spice on the quick dry finish. Not bad.

Alaskan White is a re-interpretation, according to American sensibilities, of Witbier. The beer is heavy on the coriander in the aroma and taste. The appearance is also a bit golden and clearly filtered - unfortunate for this style. It could be summed up as a heavier rendition of Blue Moon. Not bad, not great.

from Apothibières - light hazy bronze beer without foam; aroma of cardamom, orange peels and tea; solid but very subtle carbonation; medium-bodied, lively palate; light acidic and gently sweet; decently dry wheaty, peachy finish with lingering notes of cardamom

So I've been slowing my roll drinking beer, ever since summer went away. Now that it is back I've been trying new beers again and it's been good. Alaskan white from the bottle is refreshing and you can taste the wheat... With a hint of spice and citrus not a strong carbonated beer which I really enjoy because that means it can go down the pipe quicker.

16 July 2015, tap at Alaskan Brewing Company. Pale yellow, clear, almost translucent. Nose is faintly sweet and some coriander. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Dry yeast, slight coriander. This is possibly the most light, dry, and bland wit I’ve had. Nice though.

How have I never ticked this one? Surprisingly clear (for a witbier) light orange.. short-lived white head... Soft wheat and coriander.. orange peel seems a little sweet, but not bad.. Very nice when it is soooo hot... Drink colder or a bit of fruity ester arises that seems out of place.. Very nice and always a go-to for me in the summer months.
