COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known As Alaskan Belgian Wit

Brewed with coriander, bitter orange peel and malted wheat, Alaskan White Ale has a light and crisp body pleasant tartness followed by slightly spicy aftertaste. The malted wheat gives the beer a more full and lightly malty mouthfeel. There is an aroma and flavor of wheat and coriander, with a dry and refreshingly carbonated finish.

Bottle, pour is a well carbed ligght cloudy tan color. No head whatsoever. Some fruit aroma, light tangerine, gingersnap, and wheat funk. Medium light body. Good wheat beer though. Better than a blue moon any day. Great spices, has a bit of a nilla wafer aftertaste. Beer tastes better than it looks or smells.

Bottle says A 102514 (October 25 2014?) Appearance: Hazy golden body with not much of a head, which very quickly dies. No lacing. Aroma: Sour wheat scent. I’m not picking anything else up. Taste: Coriander and a light wheat flavor. It is a very light beer overall. Not a whole lot of flavor presence. Palate: Very light, a bit watered down. Low carbonation. Not much presence in the mouth. Overall: I was not very impressed with this. For a beer with polar bear on the label I would have thought it might have more flavor to it. It is just too bland. Won’t drink again, I can recommend far better beers.

This tasted like a blend of a witbier and a pilsner. Faint wheat and corriander aroma. Standard light yellowish golden color that is typical for the style with a big head. Light watery palate with high carbonation. The flavors were not pronounced in the way you would expect for a wit. Toned down orange, coriander and wheat with a minor bit of spice from the yeast. They make better beers than this.

Slightly hazed yellow pour with frothy white head. Aroma is lightly spiced wheat and a touch of lemon zest. Flavor is slightly sweet wheaty with a touch of coriander. Medium bodied with aggressive carbonation. Flat wheaty dry bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a white head that dissipates quickly and leaves lacing in the glass. Aroma of German yeast. Flavor is mildly sweet, with notes of banana and cheap beer. Mouthfeel is thick. Finish is Cornish. An odd wit.

i received this delectable as a gift from a colleague, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with it. The color was perfect, the taste, while different, grew on me. We opened these beers in a conference room, and it made me wish there was an air freshener of alaskan white ale.

From bottle. Light clear golden color. Aroma is wheat, with hints of orange and spice. Taste is wheat, grass, and the subtle orange and spice. Perhaps a little too subtle. Refreshing and light though.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle, sampler form Salute! in Kalamazoo. Cloudy yellow brew with white head. FIne aroma of spice, orange peel, coriander, yeast, wheat malt... Taste is sweet malt at the very star, spice and yeast up front with spice, orange peel, lemon and pepper emerging in the swallow. Ends with a spicey and peppery flourish... Pepper is well done as it comes and goes in the finish without lingering too much (except for a tingle on the gums) - good stuff!

Las Vegas, NV - Smith’s Food & Drugs - 12 oz bottle. Hazy dark golden pour, silky soft white head. Buttery aroma with some, slight clove accents. Flavor has some nice coriander spiciness, some citrusy lemon, a touch of butter. Thick, smooth mouthfeel. Enjoyed by the pool at my hotel after hiking in Zion.
