4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Outstanding warm up or session beer. Bottle from a 6r tried both cold mug and bottle. Orange coriander carbonation solid spicy. It's not an ipa or stout. In it's style, at the top. Love this mix.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle.
A- Oranges, coriander, wheat.
A- Copper color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Orange, spice, and wheat tones. Balanced well.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- An excellent Belgian white. Orange and coriander tones are almost perfect. Makes me crave a lot more of Alaskan Brewing beers.

A: A hazy golden-on-copper ale with single finger loosely packed off white head formation. This dissipates within a minute or two leaving a thin sheet of the same with a central cone. Rim necking present. Little lacing.
S: Sweet grain with evident sweet bavarian influenced yeast notes. Slight floral tone of gardenia with bananas as well. Little to no coriander which I find typical in the style. I like.
T: Sweet once again, bananas, esters, no ETOH, fairly one dimensional, but nice dimension nonetheless.
M: Medium body with medium to high carb. Leaves mouth slightly drier upon departure.
O: Very drinkable, which is nice, but the craftsmanship? Above average, and balanced, but not unique to bold. Could drink quite a bit, which is nice, but not a stand out beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy dark yellow with a filmy head and mild visible carbonation. Aroma of wheat, oranges, spices and pale malts. Taste includes wheat, pale malts, tangerine, and mild spices. Dry Aftertaste. Body is quite heavy and the carbonation is moderate, giving it a crisp feel. Not Bad!

Bottle. Not usually a fan of the spiced styles... Nose has some of the coriander coming through and just a little bit of the citrus in there. Taste has some the same spices to it, as well as some of the wheat you normally expect from the style. Meh.

Witbier is not one of my favorite styles, however, IMHO, this one isnít that good. Extremely light aroma (which seems sour) and taste with metallic/varnish finish. Color and appearance are right, but all else falls behind itís Belgian brethren.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance was hazy light gold with diminishing tiny thin whitish 1/2 head, no lacing. Aromas are sweet pale, wheat, pils malts with orange peel, spice, slight hefe yeasts. Taste are sweet base malts, grainy wheat comes though midway. Then slight orange, banana, coriander or ginger , no alcohol. Palate was light tight CO2 with light body, then easy going wheaty and spicey a stage length finish. A good Americian wheat for the style.

Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Carbonation medium to high with medium bubbles forming trails. Aroma free. Taste bland, maybe a bit of malt, neither sweet nor sour; no hint of spices. Light body with watery mouthfeel.
