Date: August 5, 2011 Mode: Bottle Source: Total Wine, Las Vegas, NV Appearance: Translucent golden, slight amount of head and fizzy. Aroma: Wheat, citrus. Flavor: Consistent with aroma, slight carbonation, thin bodied and pepper finish that lingered. Other: Wanted to try a brew from Alaska and this is what I went with. Nothing special, but sessionable.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with fizzy white head. Big wheat aroma, some corriander, orange. Fizzy and light mouthfeel.

I’m not a big fan of this particular beer. It’s just not in my taste buds. Its not too heavy. Has a dry flavor but doesn’t really do it to me for the hops.

Pretty innocuous brew, spearheaded by pepper and mild citrus notes. Would be good in a large, frosted mug with an icy handle (a lot of winter connotations going on here). The spice tends to linger a little too harshly at the end, but overall this is airy and smooth ale gets a passing grade - just watch out for that vulturous citrus character that plucks at your tongue.

Lots of orange and wheat in this one. Not much else though. A bit off in the taste, but may not be the freshest. Decent, but doesn’t have that belgian yeast influence.

Poured into a weizen glass. Color is dark straw with a white head and a slightly cloudy appearance. Aroma is light banana and clove with some coriander and other spice. Flavor is quite malty for a wheat beer with coriander flavor present throughout as well. Palate is light bodied with crisp carbonation. Overall not a bad witbier, but I think there are better out there.

Tap. Light orange/yellow pour. Mild aroma and taste of orange and coriander. A little watery, and the aroma/flavor elements are not bold. Sessionable, drinkable, but not terribly interesting.

gold pour with a light haze and a firm white cap.
aroma is slightly grainy, corriander spice and very very light citrusy orange.
flavour is a bit of a let down. Mostly corriander. very light wheat.
Like a homogenized american version of a white.
