COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known As Alaskan Belgian Wit

Brewed with coriander, bitter orange peel and malted wheat, Alaskan White Ale has a light and crisp body pleasant tartness followed by slightly spicy aftertaste. The malted wheat gives the beer a more full and lightly malty mouthfeel. There is an aroma and flavor of wheat and coriander, with a dry and refreshingly carbonated finish.

came out of the bottle looking like a pilsner, not cloudy like you’d expect from a white. not much on the smell end, hints of bread and grain. light on your tounge, clean taste. nothing jumps out in the flavor dept. but there’s no off taste either. an easy drinker...

Golden pour with a thin white head. Nose is sour with bready notes. Burst full of carbonation at the start, moving into with a thin watery start full of wheaty dough. Moves into a more toasted, dainty finish. Not rich in flavor, mouthfeel, or significant spice but fairly well balanced and a possible session beer.

I was impressed with this brew on tap. slightly cloudy with a taste of orange in the after taste. I had this on tap in Anchorage and was extremely happy i had 4 or 5 that night. Didn’t want to move on to a new beer

Aroma is mild orange lemon, some yeast, some coriander. Appearance is yellow orange with very small white head. Hazy. Taste is orange, wheat, coriander, spicy, yeast. Palate is almost medium and crisp. Citrus and coriander linger on tongue. Overall a nice Wit.

Another bottle shared by Skyview. Clear golden pour with a medium head. Aroma and flavor both dominated by orange peel and coriander. Light, tasty and very refreshing. Perfect summer beer!

Pretty innocuous brew, spearheaded by pepper and mild citrus notes. Would be good in a large, frosted mug with an icy handle (a lot of winter connotations going on here). The spice tends to linger a little too harshly at the end, but overall this is airy and smooth ale gets a passing grade - just watch out for that vulturous citrus character that plucks at your tongue.

A straw yellow color with a white and some lacing. The aroma is grainy. Initially there is a sweet fruity taste follow by a crisp carbonated finish. The mouthfeel is medium to medium-light. VERY drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Big Texas Beer Fest. Aroma of orange peel and clove. Boring appearance, clear yellow color with little to no head. Tasted faint coriander, citrus, and orange. Hardcore watery palate. Overall it tastes great for a second, but then when u swallow all that’s left is the taste of H2O. Cheers

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2011 Aroma is a pleasing combination of wheat and heavy citrus with a hint of spice. Pours a light golden color with hardly any foam top. Taste is a bland citrus with a small spice finish. There is little, to no hop taste. The flavor is not complex at all and there is a serious lack in flavor. Overall, it is a less than decent ale with only a boring taste of citrus, not much else to it. I’d give it a F rating.
