2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 GhostFace (269) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 20, 2011
came out of the bottle looking like a pilsner, not cloudy like you’d expect from a white. not much on the smell end, hints of bread and grain. light on your tounge, clean taste. nothing jumps out in the flavor dept. but there’s no off taste either. an easy drinker...

Big fruit and spice nose. THin bready wheat malt character with a dose of medicinal spices along with big fruity accents. Thin and generally bland.

Alaskan wit
Hazy pale straw color. White head that dissipates quickly.
Some nice spice on the nose, a crisp scent on the front but some funk at the end.
Taste is well-balanced and crisp from the nose is on the taste as well. Some nice, if not understated, orange.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ernest (5181) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 12, 2009
Bottle.
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), trace hops (flowers), with light notes of melon rind, orange, coriander.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter, unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Oof...pretty unpleasant to drink thanks to abrasive bitterness (perhaps from spices) and a dirty aftertaste. Not much in the nose.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gypsy19 (728) - California, USA - MAY 14, 2009
Pours a cloudy taxicab yellow with a minute head that disappears rapidly. Aroma is slightly of peach, and nothing else. Flavor is a bit more robust, with the promised coriander, again peachy flavors, and other light fruit. Mouthfeel is light and sprizty, finish is short-lived, dry. Refreshing, but unmemorable. Overall, fair to good.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 GT2 (3942) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 5, 2010
Bottle. A) Not a witbier. B) Sucked. Poured a slightly hazy deep yellow to orange (?) with a massive white head with decent retention and no lace. Diacetyl, feet, old candies in the nose. Taste is diacetyl bomb with a mostly watery body. Slight hops bitterness. What!? Drain Pour.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 drpimento (1740) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 28, 2011
Had this served at a good temperature, with a small, rapidly vanished off white head and no lace. Color is a clear amber with lots of bubble trails. Aroma is beery, yeast, spice, malt, grass. Flavor is like nose and is dominated by carbonic tang and yeast, followed by malt and a little spice. Barest hint of orange, maybe I’m even imagining it. Body is ok, but carbonation is very fizzy. Finish is like flavor, fairly short and forgettable.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 dionysian_son (227) - Colorado, USA - JAN 14, 2011
Golden pour with a thin white head. Nose is sour with bready notes. Burst full of carbonation at the start, moving into with a thin watery start full of wheaty dough. Moves into a more toasted, dainty finish. Not rich in flavor, mouthfeel, or significant spice but fairly well balanced and a possible session beer.
