Witbier is not one of my favorite styles, however, IMHO, this one isnít that good. Extremely light aroma (which seems sour) and taste with metallic/varnish finish. Color and appearance are right, but all else falls behind itís Belgian brethren.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance was hazy light gold with diminishing tiny thin whitish 1/2 head, no lacing. Aromas are sweet pale, wheat, pils malts with orange peel, spice, slight hefe yeasts. Taste are sweet base malts, grainy wheat comes though midway. Then slight orange, banana, coriander or ginger , no alcohol. Palate was light tight CO2 with light body, then easy going wheaty and spicey a stage length finish. A good Americian wheat for the style.

Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. Carbonation medium to high with medium bubbles forming trails. Aroma free. Taste bland, maybe a bit of malt, neither sweet nor sour; no hint of spices. Light body with watery mouthfeel.

On tap in Las Vegas, pours a hazy orange yellow with minimal white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Tastes like a typical white ale, orange peel and citrus hops, lightly bitter, a hint of banana. Pretty good while cold, very drinkable.

Btl pours cloudy pale yellow with minute particles floating around aimlessly. Big thick white head that lingers, leaving nice lacing on glass. Aroma of coriander, oranges and grass. Tastes mildly sweet with wheat and oranges. Its fruity with some spiciness at the end. Medium body, smooth texture and lively carbonation with a tart, dry finish. Pretty good, tasty white that has a crisp refreshing flavor, pleasant aromas and nice balance. Next time I will be drinking this on a hot summer day instead of a cold fall day.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
hazy yellow. Creamy head fades fast. Nose is pretty weak with a Hint of wheat and lemons. Thereís some spice and honey. Weak overall. Certainly a Belgian wit but not breaking any palate assumptions

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very little spice. I did not detect any coriander or that kind of rot. Skunky aroma of lager, with a reasonable flavour of ale, including the malts and the grassy hoppiness. Iíve had worse Belgian Whites, but I wouldnít go again for this. The most exciting thing about this beer is the label!

Had while on vacation in Alaska. A nice wheaty orangey beer. I donít think I could drink too much of it though. Itís just one of those.
