Overrall, it was a good beer. I like it a lot.
Sweet apple taste, Alcohol taste easy to detect, but I didn't found it "too mutch"
Easy to drink for a "strong beer"

uh-oh, one of those rare ratings where i’m way out of the curve. i beg to differ with my learned cohorts, but this drink hit the spot. the bottle was a gift from an attractive ladyfriend, tho that in noooo way could possibly, ever, conceivably, color my perception. right. bright goldfinch in color, clear, with a tenacious oxford white head. big bohemian floral-pils like nose, french bread baguette malt, a light sour note and some citrus. big on the tongue too: muscular toasty and lots more citrus. smooth carbonation, alcohol palpable. incidently, i’m seldom affronted by alcohol. i rather like alcohol. i consider it a friend. finishes dry with a squeeze of lemon like a wheat-pils hybrid. i liked it fine. so there.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Malty aroma, corn, hint of fruit, floral, woody, clear golden, frothy white head, disappears quickly, nice lacing, medium sweetness, the mild bitterness that takes a while to develop, creamy, bit of fruit (plum?), some alcohol, medium body, average carbo, finish is well-balanced bittersweet, not very long

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice strong beer. Pretty smooth for a strong as indicated by Radek. This beer reminded me of Unibroue’s ’La Bolduc’, except it tasted like ’La Bolduc Light’(surprising since Giraf has a higher alcohol content). This would be a great beer on a hot summer day. Very refreshing. I would give it higher marks, but, it lacks aroma.

Draught in Copenhagen. Quite liked this one, a bit of unidentified fruitiness, good full bodied lager, strong and even.

the giraffe on the can alone warrants a good grade, but upone tasting it i discovered a reasonably smooth beer. well worth the 1 50.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Color is yellowy-amberish with no real head presentation, some light lace and bubbles around the edge. Smells faintly of malt and floral hops, somewhat flat. Taste is the same, some maltness thats smooth and lingering and has a pleasing hop appeal. Nothing to overwhelming about this Malt style beer. It does carry a well balanced flaver of malt and hop, but is pretty light fare in the feel department and overall boldness. Its not bad, you can drink em, but most would maybe move on to something with a bit more flavor and feel kick.

A nice tasting beer. It is fairly strong without being unbalanced. It has a medium body which I find good as it compares quite well to the taste.
