Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 25, 2002 Updated: Dec 27, 2004A beutiful dark amber beer with a fine head - yet it disappears fast. It has a very nice sweet aroma with hints of malt and alcohol. The flavor is fresh, a little citric, prickling the tongue, which conceals the strong alcohol - it then turn a little bitter, but only slightly - and then it ends of with the warm sensation of alcohol. You could say it too little bitterness to balance the alcohol. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 11, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Neat, dark golden head with a small, timid head. Malty, rather soft mouthfeel with a low carbonation. Subdued hoppines and pleasant easy-to-drink beer. 070100 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 22, 2002 Nut brown. Super sweet, super adjunct, super crap strong lager
yespr (7788), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 11, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange, much like Rødhtte, and with a huge, dense and light brown head. Malty aroma with a light metallic and alcohol note. More body than the Rødhtte brew. Flavour starts soft malty with nice level of sweetness which lasts all the way through. Not much bitterness in the finish, but rather soft and smooth and with a minor fruityness in the very far finish. Nice. joergen (6821), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 14, 2004 Amber colour with fine white head. Malty aroma with notes of hops and alcohol. Sweet fruity flavor with an OK bitterness.
Nothing special, but still an OK christmas beer.
