Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 27, 2004 An amber beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of caramel. The flavor is very sweet and quite artificial - is it the glucose sirup or the corn? it also contains notes of caramel. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 11, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, dark golden colour with a white head that collapses pretty fast. Pleasant malty body and a rather high sweetness. But it does contain some artificial saccharine-like notes. i don’t know from where excactly. 161299 yespr (7788), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 11, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge and dense off-white head. Mild malt aroma with a minor sweet note. Flavour is medium sweet to dry with a good portion of malt and a decent hops bitterness in the finish. Good brew, but nothing Christmassy about it. joergen (6821), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 1, 2004 Amber colour with a small white head. Sweet aroma with notes of hops. Malty flavour with an OK hoppy finish. Sweet aftertaste. Nothing special, but more interesting then most of the danish christmas beers. oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Mar 7, 2007 Bottled (5.5%). Deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is metallic, buttery and slightly caramellish malty. Flavour is metallic, overly sweet malty. Yet very watery and boring.
