Bottled.
Full bodied with an aroma of wet cellar and caramel malts. Low hoppied at for an Albani BeerBiker (1209), Odense, Denmark Feb 7, 2008 Updated: Feb 12, 2008[Sampled in 2003.] Thisone was my first beer to reach a topnote when I bought Anders Evalds book Gyldendals Ølguide. I gave it a 13-note and had it as no. one beer for a long time until they hung it in 2004. Finally after this, the beerrevolution gave me more beers to sample and the note did fall from the 13-note to something between 9 and 10. But now it’s retired and not available any more. But with this rating I’ve now finalized all the ratings from the book. It all begun after the beertasting at Vinens Verden in primo August 2006 (app. 1½ year ago today) where Carsten Beermouth introduced the rating world for me and Ricki cab. A wonderful day....and I showed them my already 3 years old book filled with notes. Now it’s "over", but it has been a great time rediscovering my notes in details described where it was sampled and how it tasted. A speed of 2 ratings each day made me to this point. The speed will fall from now on, but the average rating will rise I presume. Looking forward to another kilo I cannot ask for anything else than tasting bottles from this great world of beer. Thanks a lot. /BeerBiker faroeviking (4418), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Apr 4, 2007 "Odense Rød Mørk Lager". Red-brown colour. Bit sweet and malty aroma, which are very much in the flavour too. No so pleasant aftertaste. Thanks Jákup for getting me this back 4 years ago. Papsoe (10580), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 11, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Reddish golden with a small, off-white head. Malty body (pilsener, caramel and Münchener are used) with some slight notes of caramel but overall rather dry with only a hint of hops. Pleasant enough but lacks some character. 131200
