Black with a small but sturdy head. Taste has a nice dried fruits appeal of figs, dates & prunes covered in chocolate. Not sure how old this stuff is but I’d like to try it again. Smooth without being too sweet.

Feb 25, 2007 Old bottle with the label of a happy looking brewer. Nice black colour with a long lasting light brown head. Nice roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Thick strong roasted flavour with coffee, roasted malts and some dark chocolate, some bitternessin the roasty finish. I would very much like to taste this aged porter again!

Nov 3, 2005 Tasted at Fynske Øldag 2005, Vintage, Deep brown colour with a tan head. Dried dark fruit sweet aroma with hints of chocolate. Sweet, light roasted malty flavor with lots of dried dark fruit. Palate is rather thin. Thanx joergen for finding and sharing this retired beer.

Nov 1, 2005 Bottled - vintage (Thanx Joergen for sharing): Very dark brown with a reddish gleam. Brown dense head. Aroma and flavour is a little old. Some prunes, light roast and coffee. Some sweet and marcipany notes. This is a little over the hill.
