COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn. Old yellow colour with a good white head. Malty grainy aroma. Bitter taste with some hops. Decent strong pilsener, in taste more a dortmunder than a regular pilsener.

Nice pilsener considering the price. It has a lot more taste than most Dutch Pilsener and I wouldnt know which one I like better. It tastes natural in stead of industrial so thats a big plus to me Im gonna be buying this more often, good stuff!

Goed biertje. Had eerst mijn twijfels, maar het heeft een goede smaak met een lekkere bittere nadronk. Ik denk dat dit mijn vaste pilsje gaat worden!

30cl Bottle from AH. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, light floral, hint of grass, grapes. Flavour has a nice floral character, malts, pale malts, light straw, medium sweet, nice light herbal and grassy bitter finish. Light-bodied. Way better than expected. Now seeing it’s from Gulpener (I thought Bavaria at first) explains a lot. Good show.

300 ml bottle, at home. Poured into a footed pilsner glass. This is more of a czech pilsener, on the steps of the classic Urquell. Colour for one, it’s very similar. Deep golden, close to orange copper. Big fluffy head of three fingers, white in colour, with very good retention. Medium lacing left behind as the foam goes down, while at the same time countless bubbles are rising to the surface. Aroma of grainy malts, blended with Saaz hops. Notes of green apples combine too and give to this beer a refreshing smell. Taste is amazing! Keeping in mind the style, plus the fact that it’s a contract beer for a big supermarket chain, plus the fact that it’s a biologic beer (and I hate almost all things biologic as they seem to lack in taste) this is quite a masterpiece! Sweet at first, with notes of apples again, turns to an all-out-bitterness on the finish and it’s a long one too. Medium to full on the body, with aggressive carbonation. Overall, wow! When I grabbed the 6 pack I was thinking that I was only to drink one and the rest would probably end up with my girlfriend who really digs all those bio/organic food, but I was pleasantly surprised. From the colour and overall appearance to the refreshingly bitter taste, this is an original.

#1421 Grasig-hopfiges Aroma mit leichter Alunote. Malzig lieblicher Geschmack, der in einen grobschlächtig herben Abgang mündet. Für ein AH Produkt durchaus in Ordnung.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma of grains, somewhat metallic and slightly spicy. Flavor is grain juice, but with a tiny bit of spicy hops. Ok pilsener.
