Bottler in Utrecht. Dark reddish brown colour with a medium tan foam that keeps a lace. Aroma is basically malty and alcohol, hints of caramel, Flavor is quite roasted malt, toffee and sugar, a little bit of alcohol notes. Mouthfeel is sweety...

Bottle @ home. Nice dark ruby red color, lightly creamy average sized off-white to beige head. Smell toasted malts, some spices and caramel. Taste malts, some sweetness, lightly alcohol.

Pours ruby red with a low head. Aroma is malts and alcohol. Flavor follows along the same lines. Barely drinkable.

So endlich mal ein Bier aus den Niederlanden das nicht so teuer ist und dann auch noch ein Herfstbock der Eigenmarke von Albert Haijn. Die Schaumkrone verschwindet rasch dafür ist die Farbe schön dunkelrot-braun. Der Geschmack ist ziemlich malzig und zuckrig, leichter Alkoholgeschmack. Der Zucker passt hier gar nicht rein, nicht gut trinkbar, dieses Bier. Fazit: Schade, alles andere als ein guter Bock.

Sehr süßer Antrunk, eher brotig als malzig. Die unpassend wirkende Süße beinhaltet eine muffige Spülnote, das Bier ist insgesamt wenig abgestimmt. Wenig herb, weiterhin viel zu süß. Kaum bockig aromatisch, penetrant. Schlecht! 7/5/5/6/6/5

Süßmalziger und etwas kräuteriger Geruch. Süßer Antrunk. Dann malziger, gewürzig und süß um schokoladenmalzig abzuschließen. Ziemlich süß, aber durchaus delikat.

Pretty big light airy light brown foamy head on top of a deep dark amber colored beer.
Smell spices, fruit, light toasted malts, caramel and parfume.
Taste is too sweet and bit watery with a semolina/mealy touch. Fruit and spices not well balanced. Mid carbo and bit watery body.
