COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap @ L’Albion. Dark brown with a medium fully lasting creamy beige head and good lacing. Aroma is mild with roasted and caramelized malt along chocolate notes. Taste is also mild but quite tasty with roasted malt, caramelized notes, leafy presence, chocolate and very light bitterness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Silky mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Good balance. I’m usually not a fan of Sweet Stout, but this one is pretty good and not too sweet. Well executed!

Drank on tap (20 oz) at the brewpub, on July 24, 2011. Black, medium beige head. Aroma of smoked meat and bacon, oat malt notes. Good oat malt taste slightly smoky, with notes of berries, fruity sour aftertaste, not very bitter. It’s quite decadent this beer!

On tap at Albion. The color is black with a dark beige head and nice lace. The aroma is of malt, oats and caramel. The taste is of roasted malt, chocolat and caramel with a touch of hops. THis stout leaves a mix of bitterness and sweetness in your mouth, very pleasant.
