COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A golden amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet cinnamon malt with fruity esters, apple pulp, pears, interesting and weizen like. In mouth, a nice sweet malt with loads of fruity esters, banana, sweet cloves, weizen like, nice and smooth, oily mouthfeel. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 26 2011.

(Rating #4041)

My Bottom Line :
Within honeyed cereals grow juicy peaches before leafy hop bitterness attempts to balance out this oily strong ale.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slim veil of foam skirts the hazy pale amber.
-The soft prickling makes the residual sugars feel heavier.
-Fruitiness also delves into orange-y territory.
-This must be more fun when hand-pulled/cask conditioned.
-The fruit character and important sugars became cloying halfway through the pint.

On tap at the brewpub.

On tap at Albion. The color is a hazy honey with a thin beige head. The taste is different in a good way, there are hops citrus fruits malt and the 7.5% alcohol is noticeable but does not take away anything from the taste. The aroma is also of hops and citrus fruits. Very special is this one.

On tap at brewpub.
Appearance : Clear yellow with no head.
Aroma : Great fruity hops with nice malt and light passion fruits. Light honey.
Taste : Light pasion fruits with intense malt and nice fruity hops. Very fruity and malty finish. Sweet and bitter finish. Light honey. Nice soft carbonation.
Overall : Very interesting one. Quite hoppy compared to the other beers on the menu. Surprisingly fruity for an english ale. Hops felt more American than English.Very tasty and still quite drinkable.
