Sample at the pub. Rating #5. Medium brown amber color with a dusty white head. Toasty with a touch of sweetness, easy to drink and not much of an aftertaste. Decent brew. (1791)

A: The pour is brown in color with some red highlights and little to no head to speak of. S: A touch of sweet, biscuity malt, with perhaps a touch of wheat and chocolate. T: The nose gave me some hope that this one might be a halfway decent beer. I was a bit let down by the flavor, however. Light malt and toasted biscuit flavor provide some sweetness with perhaps an ever so slight touch of hop bitterness. M: The body is a bit on the thin side, with moderate carbonation. D: It wasn’t my favorite beer of the day, to say the least. A decent nose but a let down in terms of flavor.

On tap at the brewpub a few weeks back. Color was a dirty amber. Aroma of wheat, cocoa, yeast, and nuts. Flavor was quite good. Nuts, biscuit, cocoa, sweet with some earth. Balanced and good.

On tap at Orange, this clear brownish copper colored beer had a mild amount of sweetness.

Tap @ Orange location. Nutty taste very good mouthfeel, easy to drink. Nothing overwhelming. Very good malt presence. Would buy again
