On tap (from sampler) at Alcatraz Brewing Co, Indianapolis on 15 March 2010. Very bright clear pale gold. Very pale in fact. Good condition. Does what it does OK. Clean, dry and drinkable.

Tap at Alcatraz. Pours clear gold with an average, creamy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grainy, meal, cereal), light hops (spicy), and light esters (fruity) with notes of dust and corn. Flavor is heavy malt (grainy, meal, cereal), light hops (spicy), and light esters (fruity). Light body, low warmth and creaminess, high carbonation with a dry and biting finish.

(draught) pale gold with small white head. Very little aroma. Mild malt flavor. Nothing too exciting - perhaps a good transition from American pale lagers.

Sampled at the brewpub. I suppose this is an obligatory beer in many brewpubs. Very clear light golden with a nice little white head. A light malt aroma. Some life in the feel. Light malt and soft malt in the flavor are pretty well balanced if way too thin. An "ok" beer at best.

Seemed like a very average pale ale. Golden pour, white head. Usual pale ale look and flavor.

Had on tap at the brewpub. Average and mildly disappointing, like most of the stuff I tried while there.

light Lager with some nice lacing, fairly light in color, some faint attractive butter notes, the carbonation level contributes but isn’t dominant as in the big name brands.

tap at the IN brewpub - Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. It has a slight malt aroma. The flavor is mild grainy malt with a touch of hops in the finish. It’s light bodied and bland.

Beerman6686 (2537) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2008
Poured a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma was mainly of corn and grass. Flavor is also pretty grassy with some bad adjunct, the only positive is it was very light so not too undrinkable.
