Draft. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of grain on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and grain as well as lighter notes of straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Sampled at the brewpub on 2/27/2012. This golden/blond ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied golden ale. The malts are cereal, slightly wheaty, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and slightly spicy. Good carbonation. Light and refreshing. Crisp and clean. Mild flavored blond ale with no off flavors. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Hophead22 (2380) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Sample at the brewery. Rating #18. Clear, light gold color with a small white head. Light fruity malt aroma, sweet. Light hop bite and a little sweetness, very clean and pretty nice for a lighter beer. (1786)

Meh - I felt like most of the beer at Alcatraz was pretty mediocre - this one was no exception. Golden color, thin head, tastes somewhat spicy, but mostly corny cheap grain. Little to distinguish this from the Golden Devil Hell Lager.

Draft at Anaheim location. Clear gold pour, white head. Malt, light grass, and some hops. Very drinkable, and very forgettable.

BMan1113VR (6444) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 20, 2010
On tap at the Orange location. Pours with a clear golden body with minimal head retention. Aromas are lightly grainy and bready, with additional notes of grass and burnt hair. The beer tastes like malt flavored seltzer water. Very watery. No off flavors, but to be very honest their are few flavors period. Fizzy, watery and dry.

On tap at Orange brewpub. Pours clear light golden with white head. Aromas of light grain. Flavors of light grain. Basically a substitute for light macros.

A: The color is a rather unimpressive pale golden color with a small white head. S: The nose is similarly unimpressive with very little aroma coming from the glass. Maybe a hint of citrus. T: A slight improvement with the flavor as there is at least some (sweet) malt and grain. Nearly Adjunct Lager in flavor. M: Light in body with moderate carbonation. D: If you’re into macro lagers, this one is for you. Disappointing, but not terribly surprising.

Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Mineral and light malt aroma. Mineral and light citrus flavor with light malt and some breadiness. Medium bodied. Breadiness lingers with light mineral and light citrus.
