Hazy golden with a large white head. Spicy aroma is followed by a sweet, fruity taste, slightly citric. Long bitter finish. Lots of alcohol in the taste. If I understand correctly, ’traditional English-style India Pale Ale’ really means English copy of an American copy of a traditional English-style... etc.’ I really enjoyed it.

Cask gravity Notts BF 05. Golden ale, thin white head. Really intense, some strawberry and you can taste the strength. Fruit and hop finish. Nice strong beer.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a muddy pale orange with a small creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy with lots of flowers and a little pine and a little background caramel. Nice dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very bitter and dry. Good bity biscuitness and pilsner/caramel sweetness behind the flowery bitterness. A wonderful, nice, english IPA.

Bottled, months ago. Shining gold with white lace. Big, resiny, sappy aroma drenched with citrus. Whole hop leafiness with a hint of pinecone. Juicy fibrous pineapple and blood orange. Lip-smacking hop juiciness leading to a quinine-bitter finish. Dangerous refreshment ,and an aromatically fruity IPA.
