Bottle at Chris’. Dark black with no head. Roasted malt aroma. Sweet and malty, roasted malt and coffee/chocolate. Well balanced for the style, glad to see we are producing beers like this in the UK.

Leicester Beer Fest. Pitch black in colour with a small off-white head. Aromas are earthy, licourice and chocolate with roast malts. Flavours have the same characteristics as the aroma, with extra licourice, fruity tang and a smooth hoppy finish. Only two casks of this were produced but look out for the bottles.
