Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy to golden amber with a lacing white head. Dense fruity and solid malt aroma. Slight oxidised too. Flavour is sweet and fruity with a solid caramel base. Light hops spiced in addition to this. Goes into a slowly more dry finish. Light fruity note lingering in the far finish.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a lightly muddy deep brown with a small creamy off white head. It disappears rather quickly. Aroma is heavily malty with caramel, toffee, roasted malts and a light hoppiness. Medium carbonation with a very thick, oily mouthfeel. Flavour is powerful with a light peity smoky edge. Lots of dark toffe as well. Not sweet, but with a powerful malty presence with a feel of dried fruits. Obvious hops in the aftertaste with grass and flowers dominating. Nice and soft all in all.

Medium beige fine-laced head with a coarse froth on top. Deep barely translucent dark red body. Sweetish flat roasty aroma with notes of dusty fruit and tobacco. Sweet rounded earthy roasty caramel and wood taste, a bit musty. Deep and complex. Fruity notes. Dry tea, fruit, and chocolate aftertaste. Dusty mouthfeel. Very nice! (0.5l bottle at Cardinal.)
