A pitch black beer with a small brown head. The aroma is very fruity and also contains notes of prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of prune pudding, chocolate, and roasted bread. The end is dry.

Thick looking black beer with a lightly coffee aroma and a quite bitter, dry and lightly roasted flavour. Overall quite a plain dry beer.

Bottle Conditioned. Black with no head to speak of. Aromas are roast, sweet earthy malts with chocolate and floral hops. Flavours are dry, roast coffee with chocolate and more floral notes. Some smoky peat. Dry on the finish. A decent porter that doesn’t quite have the depth tha t is suggested by the alcohol percentage.

Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - MAR 2, 2005
Bottle. Black with small beige head. Malty with dark chocolate dominant. Also hints of cappucino and leather. Long finsh. Medium bodied with pleasent mouthfeel. Quite tasty but could be more chewy.
