Cask at Fox and Crown, Nottingham. Dark brown with a small beige head. Sweet malty aroma with a whiff of sulphur. Smooth, oily mouthfeel. Sour cardboardy taste with pronounced bitterness. Served slightly warm and not in the best condition.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Deep chestnut with thin beige head. Inoffensive dark bitter. Fine, drinkable, malts have got a bit of choc, decent dryness on finish, bit of pepper hop. Pleasant best bitter.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Fesitval 07. Malty caramel with grainy notes and husky bitterness. Seems like a slight overuse of crystal for me but otherwise a pleasant if unexceptional beer.

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Nothing to inviting in the muddy brown appearance. Boring dusty bitter. Nothing bad about it just way too bland.
