BBF 07. Pours a bright pinkish red with a fluffy white head- looked enticing, but this was really bad. Aroma is wierd funk, foot, sweaty gym-scok, butyl acetate, fatty, goaty with light red grapeskin tartness. Wierd acidity as well in the flavor- malo-lactic? Slick and buttery, some dms, fatty and slick flavor with some fruitiness. This was a drainpour for sure. Surprising miss from an otherwise excellent brewer.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Poured a mildly hazed blood red color with a small white head. The beer smells like Kosher wine (but not the sweet stuff) and nothing else. The taste is like the same wine and nothing else. Some tang to it. Light to medium bodied. I’m pissed somebody owes me $7 for this stuff.

Tap and Blind Tiger. Bright red colour, thin fast fading white head. Smells like sweet concord grapes with a bit of earthy grape skins, but nothing really wild per se. A little bit lactic with only a hint of tartness but still too sweet. Fruity and grapey and possibly underattenuated. They need to throw some brett in here, and close it up for a year... maybe then it would work. Right now, it’s sort of like grape soda. It doesn’t really taste bad, it just doesn’t taste like beer.

Tap at blind tiger. Well, this certainly was a pretty beer. Poured like the best fruit lambics, bright red with a nice pink head. Unfortunately there is no sourness to be found here at all, nothing belgian, just your typical fruity American Wheat. What the hell happened with this? They shouldn’t have even released this if you ask me. For a brewpub that takes pride in their beers, this is an embarrassment and a mistake.

Tap at Blind Tiger - well dammit to hell, the one beer I was really looking forward to at this event and it wasn’t very good - reddish-purple, kool-aid looking beer - the aroma is heavy with grapes, some wheaty character, mild yogurt/tart qualities, a kind of berry/fruit juice thing going on - the flavor is a bit sweet and juice like, with very mild funky character way in the back - the flavor reminds me a bit of fruit-flavored yogurt - very mild acidity - maybe it the "wild" bacteria have more time to do their thing, this will be better, but for now it’s just meh.

Draft at the Blind Tiger. Clearish red pour, some bubbly head. Aroma is grain and grape skins. The flavor is sweet, like grape juice, and a little bit of grainy malt. Not stellar, but not completely bad either. Very fruity.
