Dark brown ale with no head, light roasted nuts and caramel in aroma. Good nutty malt and caramel in mouth, sweet finish. Lighter bodied. Dec. 2004.

Dec 11, 2004 Pint at the brewpub. Very, very dark, almost black and opaque with a nice bit of lasting foam and good lacing...nutty with hints of vanilla in the nose and some sharp late aromatic hops...creamy body with underlying sharp nut-oil bitterness, and a long strong finish.
