UPDATED: MAR 24, 2015 Can 1 pint. Note: drank from can, but sampled in glass too. Pours hazy golden, low white head, some lacing. Aroma is of grapefruits, pine, fruits. Taste is of grapefruits, other sweeter fruits, christmas tree gone wild, pine, resin. Very refreshing, good bitterness. Incredible balance. Packed with hops. Certainly one of the best DIPA on the shelves.

Can poured into a duvel glass. Oops didn’t read the instructions first. Big thanks to fbm115 for a very generous bonus! It pours a hazy orange color with a big off white head. The aroma is really complex hoppy with nice notes of florals, spicy hop, grapefruit, tangerine and a little cat pee. The flavor is off the charts with tangy grapefruit up front followed by minor notes of sweet peaches, pineapple and oranges, finishing off with a bitter/spicy hop finish. The body is perfectly light and crisp considering the gravity. Absolutely delicious. One of the best IPA’s I’ve had.

Can from Miamilice (Thanks!). Pours bright orange with soapy white head that fades to a film and lacing. Aroma is bright fruity pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is more fresh pineapple and grapefruit with a solid bitter resinous hops and just the right amount of malt to round it off. Palate is sticky and chalky with a dry finish. Awesome balance and alcohol is well hidden!

Can shared by portableparty! Clear dark apricot pour, medium carbonation and a dry hop aroma. Flavor is slick, slightly sweet hops and left an aftertaste of dry bitter oranges and hops. Alcohol on this is well hidden, very nice!

Shared by Jeff at Caleb's - pineapple grapefruit nose. Thin white head, golden in color. Taste hoppy, fresh, light and snappy. Excellent! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 ounce can from my friend Brett. Thanks! Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized white frothy head. Good head retention. Aroma of earthy and resin hops with big caramel and other malt notes. The taste is nutty caramel malts and lots of hop notes.. earthy, citrus, resin and tropical. Medium bodied, low carbonation, well balanced. Quite nice.

What a great beer thanks Ernesto987 for letting me indulge. This is a chunky beer the smell ooooohhh the smell so good it’s like they picked some hops and just put them in the can I can’t say anymore what a great beer.

Pours light coppery orange with a nice thin white head there is a suprising amount of sediment floating about. Great aroma! Tons of tropical fruit, pineapple, tangerine, mango, grapefruit, also pleanty of pine. The flavor is big on hop resin, pine and grapefruit. There are some sweet flavors in there but I’d defiantly lable this as on the dry side. This beer has some very lively carbonation, and a nice sticky mouthfeel. The finish is pretty dry, the aggressive hops really leave a nice feel on the palate.

Can thanks to bauermj. Brilliant gold with all sorts of floating garbage - nice. Big, big floral pine, grapefruit and at the end a little citrus. Flavor is smooth, sticky grapefruit and citrus bitterness with a little pine. Enough malt to balance the hops a bit, but not much in the flavor department. Was expecting a bit more palate presence. Residual sticky citrus and grapefruit. Fresh. Crisp. Phenominal.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2013 pours a very hazy peach color with loads of sediment floating around and white ring. The nose has a fair bit of citrus and notes of grapefruit. Faint undertone of a sweet caramel malt. The flavor is nice, sweet hops and malts blend together but seems well attenuated. Light grapefruit and bitter citrus round off the dominant hop presence as the bitterness lingers for a moment but doesn’t disrupt the drinkability. The body is very inviting with a gentle tingling carbonation and a smooth soft feel to it.
