4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from 16oz can. Aroma of grapefruit hops. Cloudy IPA lookin gold, white head. Packed with lots of grapefruit, pine and floral hoP flavors. Not much else to talk about - there is some malt but its overshadowed by the hop barrage. I don’t even taste the alcohol. Some citrus notes toward the end. This is really well done - an unexpected surprise.

This is by far the best beer I have ever tasted. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is a four hour drive to get it.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2012 Can at Craft Beer Co. (Poured a few ounces for the purpose of this rating). Pours a cloudy yellow / golden colour with some floaties. Bubblt white head. Aroma is a bit piney with tons of tropical fruits, pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is bitter with grapefruit and pineapple again. Soma resint hops as well. Mouthfell is medium to full with good carbonation. No signs of alcohol. Overall, a good IIPA from the glass becomes world class from the can. DRINK FROM THE CAN!

Fresh can given to me by Beermefitz on BA, a complete stranger until today. Thank you so much for the generous gesture. Good beer karma shines down on you this day.
Drinking out of a Pipeworks Brewing goblet. Pours a cloudy golden hue with a fingers worth of bubbly white head.
Smells great. A nice balance of resin and citrusy fruit.
Speaking of balance, wow. First taste knocked me on my butt. Sweet and bitter tangoed on my tongue both getting a turn at lead.
Not too sticky on the mouthfeel, but leaves behind a bit of hop to bring you back for another drink. Carbonation tickles the throat as she goes down.
Overall, fantastic beer that completely lives up to the hype and well deserving of my first review. Hope I didn’t let it down.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I'll be fair and rate the appearance at 3/5 - I haven't actually given in to temptation to pour this beer into a glass. Aroma on first crack of the can is sweet and skunky - this evolves as the beer warms up to reveal many layers of hoppy goodness. Matter of fact so does the taste. First sip is good, but always underwhelming for me, but with each sip the flavors develop a bit more to reveal the sultry nature of hops. This is a great beer, one of my favorites. Not bitter for a dipa, but the can explains that, just layers and layers of beautiful hop with enough malt backbone to keep it drinkable.

Nice with aroma, taste of grass, rich floral notes, fruit (peach and some grape), but not as intense as I had hoped. Probably had my sights set too high..

Drunk to celebrate my rating number 24,200. Can. A hazy golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of peaches, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, peaches, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can 1 pt. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a cloudy golden with a rich and lacing white head. Sweet fruity nose, heavy on citrus and pine. Medium body, very soft mouthfeel, a little lowish in carbonation. A rather sweet but very fresh fruitiness, lovely citrusy hops with an almost herbal astringency. The bitterness actually doesn’t feel all that extreme. A lovely DIPA, but not sure it’s THAT much better than so many other beers of the same style. 270612
