Several cans, from the can. Aroma is a burst of juicy fruity hops; pinneaples, mangos and oranges. Some wet grass and resinous hops which tends to fade as the beer gets older. Taste: I’d say it is the best tasting double IPA I’ve ever had. Flavors are very coherent with the aroma. Definitly hops at its best. The perfect level of bitterness with a sharp citrus touch. Balance and drinkability is through the roof and alcohol is very well hidden. The ultimate beach beverage.

I gotta say, wow, great pour, heady topper indeed, literally huge. Taste is awesome, bitter, sweet, fruity, and sticky as hell. Dark murky orange color. One of the best, if not the best dipas I have come across. Had from a 16 oz can. Definitely a keeper.

Half from the can: as soon as you crack it, you get blasted by piney citrus hops. Very drinkable from the can.. I could have kept going, but I had to give it a look...poured into tulip: cloudy golden, excessive sediment despite careful pour. Aroma remains true. Full bodied, full flavored, some carbonated kick, a hint of alcohol burn. Nice big bitterness throughout and lasts intO next drink. Floral, grapefruit, evergreen... Sweet sour bitter. A resounding winner.

Can. Pours a cloudy straw gold with thick head. The aroma is piney, citrusy hops with a similar flavor. The aftertaste is resinous and very bitter which detracts from this beer in my opinion. I would prefer the citrus aroma and flavor with less bitter aftertaste.

Going to try to rate this as instructed on can. Aroma has citrus, bright dry hops, and some tropics but it is a bitch to get a nose full through this little opening and swirling the can is going to result in me spilling it somehow. Mouth feel is medium and there is good carbonation. Flavor is a big old hoppy blast, citrus, grapefruit, medium bitterness, and a kick of pines.

I can’t do this anymore.... Getting a glass.

Pour is surprisingly hazy, amber in color, and has a bit of sediment. Nose is so much more punchy in a proper glass really opening up the tropical fruit and grapefruit. Flavor is actually less intense somehow in the glass with the bitterness and resins less concentrated. I left a good bit in the can and going back to compare it there is really a noticeable difference even sipped back to back. Bottom line this is a fantastic beer regardless of what vessel it comes in!

Can from hbmason...thanks Tim! Pour hazy amber with massive chunky floaties in mass quantities. Wow. I’m all for some floaties, but this is ridiculous. All sorts of hops in this one--big tropical fruity hops, a touch of garlic, pine, and some hot, spicy hops. Just a massive nose, and a lot of sweet malt in the background. Taste is equally as big, but the heat comes through more, along with the grassy, spicy hops. Not as much tropical fruit hoppiness, though there’s more citrus rind that comes through. A bit of heat in the long finish, but mostly just big juicy, bitter hops. The malt thickens it up and it’s too sweet for my liking on the finish, but I suppose this beer isn’t supposed to be an exercise in restraint. It’s still tasty, even if the sweetness means I couldn’t drink more than one at a time. Which, being a DIPA, I suppose I wouldn’t want to. Big, thick and slick in the mouth, this one really fills up the glass.

Amazing. Smell is all hops. Tropical fruits, citrus, and grass. Taste is grapefruit pineapple mango and citrus. Touch of malt balances the intense hop and resin flavors. Finish is perfectly bitter and dry. Every bit as good as the hype. Awesome brew. My only problem is that I don't have any more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz. Can: Aroma of holy hops! Scents of hops, pine, resin, hop oil, grass, grapefruit, citrus, and a hint of caramel malt. Poured amber in color with a tiny, off-white head that disappeared quickly. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny, small, and massive-sized particles throughout. Flavor is heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, grass, hop oil, citrus, and caramel malt. Medium body. Dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Heavily bitter, hop, pine, resin, citrus, grass finish is dry. 8%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Can. Pours copper with a small head, decent lacing, and some unfiltered resin. Aroma is full of weed and floral hops. Taste is bitter and full of herbs. Amazing brew.

From the Can. Every bit as good as people have been saying it is. Rich Tropical hop aroma, Hops smack my palate, I get Mango, pineapple and some citrus. The Alcohol isn’t noticeable and this goes down very easily. Very clean and fresh. Best IPA of the year so far and reminds me of the Kernel beers from London.
