4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer was as good, if not better than expected. The aroma is HUGE; pine, grapefruit, pineapple, lemongrass all meld together for an almost spicy bouquet of a smell. A true hop bomb, but not just bitter - there are lots of tangelo and dried orange chips in the flavor. It is pretty malty and sweet as well, balancing out nicely with a hint of caramel and mellow citrus.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
16 oz Can (!!) This is about as close to DIPA perfection as you can get. I absolutely cannot believe that beer from a can could be this good. Total fresh hop fragrance hits you as you pop the top of the can. The can says "drink from the can" but I need to pour it into a glass to appreciate the hop aroma and flavor to its fullest. really nice unfiltered murky pour with a huge off-white creamy head. The flavor is perfection: huge hop flavor with none of the bitterness - how do they do it?!? I thought I had burned out on DIPAs until I had this. These folks know that the highest ABV or IBUs does not equal the best beer. True brewing genius. Now I can only hope and pray that distribution will eventually make its way to PA. Please Please Please....

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can shared on the bus during RBSG 2012. Pours clear gold with a sudsy white head. Huge tropical and citrus aroma, grapefruit, peach, orange peel, pineapple. Nice blend of resin, pine and acidic citrus notes in the flavor. Dry bitter finish. Great DIPA, promoting big hoppy flavors instead of malt and booze.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
a back room dealing for a single can. enjoyed from the can as recommended but enjoyed lil bit in a glass just to see the hazy yellow and big white head. Aroma is pith and zest or citrus fruit and wet grass clippings. The taste is a slow long burn of bitter that grows through my mouth for a solid minute after a sip. Great tingling carbonation for a high abv beer. I always am suspicious of hyped up beers but this is an excellent DIPA.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
#800! Can courtesy of pushkinwow. Pours a cloudy yellow with an off white head. Decent retention. Massive hoppy aroma of citrus, grapefruit, peach and some light malt and caramel. Flavor is a beautiful blend of fruity hops (mostly grapefruit and orange) caramel malt and medium bitterness. Nice toasted cracker malts as the backbone. Full body, soft carbonation. The finish is a long pine, oily bitterness. Light resin notes toward the backend as well. Amazing drinking considering the bitterness. This was as good as the hype made it out to be. Looking forward to the second can!

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2013 2013-04-27. Hazy orange body with a nice creamy white head. Hoppy aroma has light green hops, muddled but pleasant citrus, orange, grapefruit and lemon notes. 7++ Flavour is similar with grapefruit orange lemon citrus melange, and a good amount of bitterness throughout. Lingering lemon in the finish. Nuance of the hops and citrus grows as it goes. 7++ Average plus palate has pleasant carbonation. 3+ Nice stuff. 7/5/8/3/16-17 On tap at the brewery.
2012-08-17. Hazy orange body with a small off-white head. 3+ Nice hoppy aroma, citrus, muted leafy hops. 7++ Flavour is similar with nice modest citrus character, good amount of bitterness throughout. Smooth average bodied palate. 3+ Smooth average bodied palate. Quite nice, very drinkable, lovely hop character. I thought the label on the can was a joke, but I think it may have actually been just a bit better straight from the can! 8/3/8/3/16 Can, Campground Brewdown 2012

Thanks to adamjackson for this awesome brew via trade. It doesnít look the part, but it definitely acts the part in every other category. First can poured into two pint glasses, one for me and one for my wife (hell of a post-baby beer!). Off yellow hazy pour with white head. Second one consumed from the can as advised by...the can. Smells like a dream orchard filled with ripe fruits: orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, hint of evergreen. Tastes more ripe than it smells. Perfect resinous hops intermingle with ripe citrus. Bitterness is very low and alcohol is remarkably unnoticeable 8%. One of the three best IPAs I have ever enjoyed.

Pours a golden maize color with a tall soapy white head. Aroma of pine, honey, citrus, and hops with a very well-balanced flavor of citrus, honey, pine, and hops. This was truly exceptional!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
can thanks to Time4Lunch pours hazy bright orange with a medium white head. Lots of sediment floating around. Aroma is huge hops through and through. Grapefruit, sweet citrus, grass, a little skunk/cat piss. Flavor does not disappoint, big resinous hop flavor of pine, grass and again citrus from bitter to sweet ending with a big bitter wallop. This lives up to the hype and more, special stuff.
