4 pack of 16oz cans that Eric brought back from VT for me. Thanks dude.... I will watch your dog anytime! It says to drink straight from the can (that is a faux pas in my house... and yes, I had to google-it to get the correct spelling!) I dumped this one into my Sam Smith nonick pint. It is a cloudy, pale orange pour with a short white head. The aroma is all citrus and a hint of fresh bread. Orange, grapefruit, and pineapple aromas dominate this one. The first sip is acidic and thirst quenching. The hop flavors are very strong, but not harsh at all. The flavors and carbonation are surprisingly soft. Whenever I pour a double IPA, I prepare myself for harsh hop oils to murder my mouth. This was soft and citrus-juicy-sweet from start to finish. The 8% is hidden even in the last cellar-temp sip... wow. This is a rare occasion where I try a beer after reading about it for a year+. This is hyped as much as Pliny, and after a fresh 4-pack... I know it is legit. I love this beer, I love that it is from VT, and I hope that this becomes as readily available as Budweiser in my lifetime.

Heady Topper is the most drinkable DIPA Iíve ever had. Smooth and bitter, it makes you crave the next sip. The only roadblock to having enough is the ABV

On can @ Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Awesome aroma of citrus, high drinkability for being a DIPA. Really well balanced.

Hands down the best IPA I have ever tried. It is extremely drinkable, smooth, flavorful, and it is not overpowered by hops. It tastes exactly how it smells which is amazing! Find a way to try this beer!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks Drew. Hazy orange with generous off white head. Pine and musty citrus dominate the aroma with a little "body odor" funk. Flavors are pine and caramel with a bitterness which is aggressive but a bit stale. Good DIPA, but it is missing clean distinct flavors/aroma - a bit muddy.

Warning, do not look at my ratings, Iím not good ,for giving grades but, Iíve had lots of IPAs and DIPAs and this one is the absolute best DIPA Iíve ever had. The bitterness is so complex it even feels like itís shifting in the after taste. SO DRINKABLE itís scary. Iíll have to find time to go down there (Iím from Montreal) and pick up a couple of cases...Amazing stuff!

4 pint cans courtesy of a friend. Poured in a snifter. Hazy yellow orange. Nice citrus/bitter balance. Very good. Says to drink out of a can, Iíll do that next.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2013 Nice rich golden-amber color with decent layer of sudsy off-white head. A floral, citrus-spiked sweet hop aroma and light maltiness which carries through in taste. " Waves" of hop flavors; floral then a bit earthy in the finish with some bite in the cheeks (so to speak). Really a great beer. Notes: I was fortunate to try it from the can and on tap at the pub back before the flood with some excellent food.

From can. Nice fruity fresh hop aroma. Apricot, pear, pine. Sweetness abounds with alcohol vapor and funky resin. Amber clear with light haze and thin white head. Medium body with high carbonation. Starts sweet with lots of juicy hops, fruity and bitter. Light caramel. Bit bitter finish and after.

Wow wow wow my 100th rate and what a beer to do it with :) can acquired via a trade from kingcecil. Pour hazy golden with a white one finger head. Aroma is citrus and piney, smooth on the palette growing bitterness on the aftertaste which is great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
