Can for rating #4600: † Dirty orangish straw, light to moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing. † Bright and sweet pithy nose, a bit citrusy, somewhat candied. † Fresh and bright on the tongue, hoppy, citrusy, some caramel like sweetness, candied orange bits. † Not overly biting, hoppy, but well within reason. † Good amount of sweetness to balance it out. † Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full. † Clean hoppy finish. † Absolutely straight forward and a great representation for the style. † Not overly hoppy, not terribly sticky. † Very well balanced. † Thanks to Nat of Brouwerís Cafť for the can!

Crazy scents. Blended fruit, citrus, and floral. Thick head and hazy golden color. Starts a little sweet on the tongue with a nice bitter finish. Not too bitter for an 8% ipa. One of my favorite ipsís for sure.

1 pint can (trade with Leighton). A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit aroma. Tastes of grapefruit, hoppy, citrus fruit, pine, slight marmalade taste, slightly malty with some bitterness. Pretty good stuff, almost in the Kernel mould.

Can generously donated by HopHead Fred. A light, hazy orange color. Awesome hopped-up citrus nose, with some fresh-cut hay and a bit of sweetness, that is detectable from more than a foot away. Piney hop resin dominates the taste, but despite the high IBUs, the bitterness is just the right amount without overpowering the secondary notes of grapefruit and honey. Very dry with an abrupt finish; I wish it had more of an aftertaste. Iím not sure itís the absolute best DIPA Iíve had, but it does live up to its hype.†

Quarter can pour, lightly hazed golden with full finger straw head. Nose is nice Simcoe hop, resin and straw, sticky and dank. Flavor is healthy hop, woody, like oak, rich and sticky. Killer amazing. Great body with nice lacing. Really a standout beer

A lil conflicted about keeping this in the can, it says I must to retain the hop aromaís, still I will pour a little for scent and complexion. Can smells of piny, bitter hops like a stronger dales. Pours a light unfiltered yellow with a foamy white head, kind of looks like grapefruit juice. After pouring I can smell lemon, citrus and honey but smell isnít too complex. Is more bitter and less aromatic in the can but Iím sure this can be enjoyed either way. Quite drinkable for the alcohol and not super bitter. Is quite dry and finishes bitter and dry and tasting like cut grass. Its good but nowhere close to the best double IPA Iíve ever had and that grass aftertaste is not good.

Poured from tall can and consumed from can as it instructs me to do. I poured out a bit into a glass to make the rating. Pours copper in color with off white head. Aroma is grapefruit and malt. Tasty stuff.

16 oz. can from the Booyamachine himself. Itís every bit as good as people claim it is. Hops are straight up lumberyard pine. Very intense. Palate is destroyed well before the can is finished. Distribution is so limited but if you can get your hands on it, you should grab as many as you can.

Bottle. Grapefruit peel and pine aroma - very intense. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Lingering bitter aftertaste.
