A lil conflicted about keeping this in the can, it says I must to retain the hop aromaís, still I will pour a little for scent and complexion. Can smells of piny, bitter hops like a stronger dales. Pours a light unfiltered yellow with a foamy white head, kind of looks like grapefruit juice. After pouring I can smell lemon, citrus and honey but smell isnít too complex. Is more bitter and less aromatic in the can but Iím sure this can be enjoyed either way. Quite drinkable for the alcohol and not super bitter. Is quite dry and finishes bitter and dry and tasting like cut grass. Its good but nowhere close to the best double IPA Iíve ever had and that grass aftertaste is not good.

Poured from tall can and consumed from can as it instructs me to do. I poured out a bit into a glass to make the rating. Pours copper in color with off white head. Aroma is grapefruit and malt. Tasty stuff.

16 oz. can from the Booyamachine himself. Itís every bit as good as people claim it is. Hops are straight up lumberyard pine. Very intense. Palate is destroyed well before the can is finished. Distribution is so limited but if you can get your hands on it, you should grab as many as you can.

Bottle. Grapefruit peel and pine aroma - very intense. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Lingering bitter aftertaste.

First time actually pouring it in a glass. Poured a nice opaque straw/orange color with a finger and a half white head. Scent is definitely more pronounced when sampling from the can, but it is still fantastic. Strong floral hops dominate, a little citrus, and a little hay. Taste is like a hop punch in the teeth. Awesome citrus and resiny hops sip after sip. Bitterness is slight and well balanced and the 8% alcohol is hidden well. One of the best!

16 oz can courtesy of Dan the man, thanks Dan! I drank the first half from the can (as instructed) second half poured a hazy straw color with a two finger bone white head. Sticky retention. Aroma is stupid. Like a sniffing a handful of citra hops. Mixed with some earthy fresh undertones, itís floral and spicy. Really wonderful. Taste is amazing, like hops in a can. Extremely fresh, sweet tropical fruits upfront, melon, mango, citrus, balanced flawlessly by a caramel malt backbone and finishing with a nice crisp finish. Bitterness like the rind of a grapefruit. Mouthfeel is bubbly and excellently carbonated, a medium thickness makes this extremely drinkable. I would have liked to guzzle a whole 4pk of these guys. By far one of the best double IPAs out there (east coast pliny, anyone?) Extraordinary brew, get it if you can!

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 [4678-20120817] Can. Fresh leafy hops aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange body with a quick foamy white head. Orange bitter hops flavour has a nice underlying tangerine sweetness. Medium body. Very tasty, very drinkable. (7/3/8/4/16) 3.8

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2013 Can courtesy of Atom. Tropical fruit, citrus hops aroma - also something almost lactic. Cloudy orange amber with a moderate white head, chunky white sediment... ugly beer... the command to drink from the can is a cop out in my opinion. Super sweet biscuity malt, citrus and weedy hops flavor. Full body. Iíve had so much better, and simply donít understand the hype on this one. (original rate 7-2-6-3-13=3.1)Fresh refrigerated can courtesy of 8003F. Fruity citrusy piney hops and bready caramel malt aroma. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Cirtrusy apricot, bready caramel malt, resinous piney hops, and citrus peel flavor. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Better than my first experience, but still overhyped in my opinion.

Great classic hop aroma for an imperial ipa. Notes of citrus fruit, grass, pine and some floral aroma. I only poured half (because can demanded I drink it from the can but I couldnít help myself and had to see it) it was a bland gold color with some chill haze. Rich and creamy in the mouth it is like drinking a delicious hop emulsion.
