Can. Poured just enough in a Whiskies of the World sampling glass to get a color; pours an attractive hazy honey with a very light, creamy white head. Nose is intensely herbal and citrus -- grapefruit, rosemary, fresh sage, tangerine, and lavender. Amazing on the tongue; well-balanced, bright, hoppy, and perfectly integrated, with citrus heat following the hops punch and closing with a delicate browned-sugar malty sweetness. Finish is long and camphorous. Yeah, worthy of the hype.

Can from 4 pack. Lucky to get at Craft Beer Store in Southampton. Drank one from the can and one in tulip glass. Aroma is all West Coast hops. Citrusy. Taste is beautiful hoppy resin. Not bitter. Slightest of alcohol on back end. Very good beer. Hazy from all of the hop additions. Good DIPA, but I still prefer PTE better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

10/10/2013. From can, and even though it clearly says to drink straight from the can, I had to pour it into a glass. Hazy light amber color with a white head. Pine aromas with citrus, hops, malt, grapefruit. Very hoppy flavors that just wonít go away. A masterpiece of a beer.

Very small pour just for appearance. dark orange with a small white head. Nose is all hops. Very floral and resinous with citrus and some tropical fruitiness. There is a slight bitterness present. Mouth has a ton of resinous/piney hops with a very subtle hint if tropical and citrus. A lot of grapefruit. There is a slight bitterness present again, but the use of bittering hops was minimal. This beer was so smooth with an intense hop bite that remained sharp an hour after cracking the can open. This one will get my 3rd perfect rating for sure.

Pours a cloudy golden with an orange hue, white fine foam. Very full hop aroma with a flowing combination of grapefruit, resinous pine dominant with tropical fruit accompaniment. Mouthfeel is lightly creamy, slightly tacky with a bit of oiliness at the edges. Finish is slightly sweet, bits of pepper, light astringency and some bitterness. Overall a very nice beer. Especially appreciated the full aroma however the mouthfeel and heft seem to detract slightly from the wonderful hop experience.

Opened the can and the aroma was incredibly inviting. Refreshing floral, citrus, and a trace of resin. First sip hits the palate and it is a medium body, with a creamy, slightly oily texture, average carbonation. The taste is right on the button for an IPA that isnít consumed as a dare (there are many more beers whose bitterness will beat you into submission, this one however is easy to drink without the abuse) Tastes are similar to the aroma, but i assume the yeast provides the interesting but subtle limestone flavor and is absolutely welcome to this party. There is no disappointment here. The finish on this gem canít be mentioned enough... UNBELIEVABLY long finish with wave after wave of citrus hops bombing away at you. Not overly bitter but there is a distinct resiny lingering bitterness which is right on the money. Overall great beer which is 100% true to itís style.

From can @ Borefts 2013, thanks to BRW. Grassy, citric slightly herbal aroma. Pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, oily grassy hops. Very well balanced, very good. Lives up to its reputation.

Can pour...duh...ha, ha, a few months back. HT is a hyped beer that lives up to all the hype. Although not my favorite DIPA, itís definetly awesome. I really enjoyed the floral aromas and the grapefruit, citrus notes were perfect.
