UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 Bottle from Brouwerij Lane Brooklyn. It?s an ode to hops while not letting them over power the experience. The only down marks are the haze and yeast floaters on this golden ale with a small head and fantastic lace. The aroma is deep layers of sweet tropic fruits, pine, resin, funk and hop acids. Those continue into the flavor where grapefruit and orange comes out with cool and increasingly bitter finish. But it doesn?t over power the sweet maltiness and stays dangerously drinkable. It is velvety and lively. I am smitten and glad to have another. Oops. Hop acid burb.

Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. A bit hazy golden yellow beer with a offwhite head. Hoppy and fruity aroma. Floral, hoppy flavour. A bit sweet and a bit bitter. A lovley beer with a nice balance.

poured from a can. geez, this is a dangerous beer. amazingly easy to drink, smells great (citrus, green, grassy). Really nice and smooth mouthfeel for a double ipa. the 8 percent dont register at all and this is a beer you can drink all day. the fact that you can get it in a can for easy transport makes it that much better. highly recomended.

Can, pours very hazy orange with medium off white head, lots of yeast sediments. Aroma is tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, passion fruits and so on. Taste is very hoppy with pineapple, peach, mango, citrus, some some malts. Very nice sweetness and bitterness. Very drinkable. Just amazing, the nose is mindblowing as is the taste.

(Canned) Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. The aroma holds passion fruit, peach, lychee, strawberry jam, papaya, canned pineapples lime, tangerine, pink grapefruit and pine up front with undertones of herbs, flowers (roses and white flowers), grass, wood, pepper, pear, vanilla ice cream, black currant and cucumber water. Mild toasted and clean malt in the background. Juicy, aggressive and yummy. The flavour is light sweet, medium bitter and light acidic with lots of tropical and citric juice notes alongside more “green” and woodsy hop notes. Toasted and clean malt backdrop. The mouthfeel is clean and tight with a light astringent finish. Light carbonated. Clean, grapefruity, light tropical and spicy, almost numbing piny finish. Near medium bodied.

Can. Hazy, yellow/straw liquid small to medium white/light off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, grapefruit, citrus, cereal malt, lemon grass, orange peel, tangerines and blackberries. Awesome. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with lots of fresh, hoppy notes of grass, grapefruit and tangerine. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Very well brewEd DIPA. Love the fresh hoppy notes.

One of the best DIPAs so far tasted. Strong and sharp bitterness, but still gentle and not long-lasting. It also has a good body and a fresh fruity aroma.

Can. Pours super hazy orange. Orange and grape notes in aroma. Sweet taste with notes of orange, pine needles and resin. Lots of grape and alcohol bitterness in the aftertaste. Big bodied like a hop juice. Highly drinkable. Unique.
