4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 PhillyCraft (1957) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2012UPDATED: MAR 25, 2013 Fresh can compliments of Vince. Pours a cloudy golden orange color, lacing was webbed and thick, medium head. Aromas of pineapple, guava, white oak, tangerine, dank hoppy resins, juicy cantalope as well as other melons. Taste was about the same with so many tropical fruits presents, candy caramel, pineapple juice, peaches. Light to medium body with a salivating mouth. This reminded me of pliny younger meets a fresh dugana. Aftertaste never leaves the mouth. EPIC.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 luttonm (1629) - Belgrade, SERBIA - MAY 16, 2013
Can in Massachusetts, thanks so much to my cousin Lauren who saved a couple for me! (and to know that she loves this as much as all of us, is just great). Fantastic aroma, dank, tart hops with vinegar. Body is huge resiny hops. Full, heavy mouthfeel, and heavy acid hop finish. Rich and smooth. This is crazy huge and thick but oddly restrained and balanced in that context of huge dipa. Funky citrus, citrus rind. Sticky sweetness. Crazy good. Rich and tasty. East coast’s intense dipa king.. east coast Pliny. Both beers I simply wish I could have more often.

This is a default message... As I do not wish, nor have time to comment on each beer I try at this time.

Amazing aroma of pineapple, peaches, and tropical fruits. Taste is fruity with a really well balances bitterness that is quite small for being an Dbl IPA.
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 Bestbrew1 (43) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 15, 2013
A great DIPA one of the best out there. The only thing I don’t like about this beer is the chunks of fish food flakes floating around in it. Other than that everything about this beer is great.
2.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Torontoblue (48) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 12, 2013
From the can, obviously but poured into a tulip. Huge, overwhelming aromas of fresh pine, peaches, citrus pith & spicy hops; you could seriously sniff this all day long and not get bored. Poured a cloudy amber orange with a thin head, that dies to a fine lace. Well, I wasn’t expecting this......the taste is just so one dimensional with fresh pine, spicy bitter hops...........and then nothing. No linger, no malt to back it up, no hint of sweetness, nothing, nada, zilch. There is just no finish!! It’s like drinking a stripped wine. I just don’t know what all the hype is about.....oh wait, I do......it’s just hype and everyone is on this train.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 TheHopster (596) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - MAY 11, 2013
(can) The grand finally celebrating 1883 ELCO 30th HS reunion at the Porch in Myerstown. Drank straight from the can by the recommendation of bartender. Let’s not get too serious. It’s beer, It’s fun. Ultra smooth for this IBU. Even a novice can appreciate the quality of this fine ultra- hoppy IPA. The high ABV is well disguised.

Presumably canned on February 1, 2013 based on Julian code on can.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a thin creamy head, decent retention.
Aroma: The aroma has peaches on it with some tropical aromas.
Taste: The bitterness is moderate, but surrounded by a medley of flavors. Peaches comes to mind, as does grapefruit with some spice
Palate: Creamy body, full.
Overall: I will need to try this fresh, but even a few months old it’s a good beer.
