4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2013 Cans thanks to Balto_MD. Poured into a tulip even though it tells me to drink from the can. Huge pillowy white head. Pours a cloudy orange. Powerful grapefruity hops aroma. As the head dissipates it leaves a beautiful lacing along the glass. Much of the head lasts for some time. Slightly on the bitter side of balanced. This could be due to my pouring it into a glass (just read the can). Actually taking a swig from the can is slightly less bitter. Still an amazing beer that I am glad I got to try. The next three will be drank directly from the can, as it was intended!

Wow. Shared a can of this with a couple of friends. Very complex array of hop flavors without being overpowering.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a darkish orange-amber in color with a very small white head that fades quickly. Low carbonation. Aroma is piney with some citrus and also some malty sweetness. Flavor is a "heady" mix of sweet malts along with medium bitter citrus and pine hops.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
473ml can served in a tulip (to take a look in the appearance) and also drunk from the can as suggested by the brewer.
A: Pours a hazy yellow to orange to beige color forming a small think bubbled creamy head. Low retention and only few lingering lacings left in the glass
S: Hops bomb, of course. Refreshing and delicious. Strongly tropical fruity profile with strong notes of green mango (Iíve grown up in Brazil and weíve had some mango trees in our backyard. So, believe me, green mango smells pretty much like this). A bit lemony. Malts and some sweetness
T: Excellent taste. Again, of course, giving emphasis to the hops. But the malts profile is also very good. Pale malts, mainly, something between Maris Otter and Perl, Slightly sweet upfront but with an overall, dry and crispy malt profile. Intensive hops bitterness, however, very well harmonized. Notes of citrus lemony hops. Green mango, tropical fruits. Light notes of brown sugar
M: Medium body and carbonation. Strong citrus hoppy aftertaste
O: Very drinkable. Excellent experience. I was expecting an excellent IIPA and thatís exactly what Iíve got

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Location: Can shared by Pinsky at Daveís Bachelor Party, 9/27/14, Rating #4000!
Aroma: It has a big hoppy aroma of grapefruit/tropical hops, pine, and a bit of caramel
Appearance: I drank this one straight from the can as the can instructs you to do
Flavor: The taste has lots of pine and tropical flavors, a little sweet, with a big hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it has a pretty smooth mouthfeel, and a clean, dry finish
I was quite excited that I finally got to try/rate this. Thanks Pinksy! Iím very happy to enter this one as my 4k tick! Iíd like to thank all the inablers who made this possible by sharing beer with me, buying me beer, or just not judging me for how much beer I drink (okay, that last one is really just for my wife). As for the beer, sometimes hype can go to far and the beer has no chance to live up to it. This is not one of those times. This is a world class beer! Iíd love to get my hands on more of these.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very aromatic indeed. Very sweet, soft at first, with many fruits, brown sugar and a hint of cinnamon, but a massive hop-whallop (120 IBUs) takes over shortly.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can at tasting. Big garlic hop flavor. Reminds me of "Wings of Armegeddon". Bright garlic, yeasty golden malt body. Its good, its tasty, its solid...but this is not life changing stuff...hardly line-worthy.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very aromatic indeed. Very sweet, soft at first, with many fruits, brown sugar and a hint of cinnamon, but a massive hop-whallop (120 IBUs) takes over shortly. Smooth and creamy throughout, low carbonation. Not at the top for the style, but quite tasty and dangerously drinkable.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
March 2004: Draught at the brewpub. Very light golden appearance, almost no head. Fruit, fruit, fruit in the nose -- oranges, grapefruit, apples. 8/3/8/4 16 3.9
September 2006: This yearís edition definitely shows more malt presence in the body, and the aroma is if anything even more fragrant, fruity and floral with some light touches of berry. Really coming along, approaching mastery...
