4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dresden (533) - Saskatchewan, - MAR 16, 2012Huge thanks to pushkinwow for this one. I drank the first half as recommended, straight from the can... while having the first BBQ of the year might I add. Huge aroma when you stick your nose in the can.Lots of citrus, lots of pine. Tastes of quite a bit of pineapple, grapefruit. Tons of resin. Actually really bitter compared to a lot of DIPA. When I poured the 2nd half into a glass, it’s a golden honey colour with floating flakes throughout. Wish I could get more.

Well I got to finally try one...can at a bottle (can) share in Boca Raton, FL. Small snifter. Pours light in color with significant sediment. A hazy yellowish pour. Very light head. Very potent hop aroma of pine and pine resin along with grapefruit. Balanced very well with the malts on the taste. Mostly a pine and floral taste along with citrus. It didn’t seem to be an 8%. Finishes dry and clean.

this is a very good. that being said, it is very expensive for what it is. i have had better beers but i do enjoy me a heady when i am feeling saucy. great on the nose, super floral, and not to sweet like most double ipa’s can be. if you don’t have an ipa glass, keep this beer in the can. it really makes a difference.

Can shared generously by Max at tasting. Pours hazy apricot-hued yellow with thick foamy head. Aroma is outrageous; this is the best smelling IPA I’ve ever encountered. Lovely aroma of grapefruit with notes of lemon and lime zest and tropical fruits. Just heavenly. Taste is lots of hoppy citrus pith, grapefruit juice and light pine. Great balanced. Terrific finish. Definitely lives up to the hype.
4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 fletchfighters (837) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2013
Canned love!!!
Hazy, orange yellow color. One finger head that falls to a thick collar leaving a solid ring of soapy lacing. Vibrant carbonation.
Citrus and citrus nose. Tangerine, grapefruit, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mango. Holy crap.
Tropical fruit bowl taste. Touches of malt backbone. Hops sing in harmony with this. High acid but not overly bitter. Complex mother.
Long lasting candied citrus feel. Perfect carbonation. Oily, dry and just touches of sweet. Brilliant, just brilliant
