4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours hazy golden color. Aroma is huge on hops. Taste is strong in hops with a fantastic malt base. Great balance between the strong hop flavor and strong malt. Fantastic.

Poured into a teku glass showing about 5 mm of sparse white foam that quickly dissipates into a hazy dark yellow and some yeast in the beer.
The nose shows a lot of pine and cannabis with more tropical and exotic fruit flavors upon warming up slightly.
The palate shows a lot of intense, juicy, and ripe pineapple and touches of lemon/lime. The bitterness definitely reaches the sharp IPA bitterness point of 120 IBU fades instantly back into a clean and refreshing fruit shown before. The finish is clean with a slight astringency afterwards.
They call this one of the best beers in the US, it’s very easy to why.

[Can] Tried a can of this smuggled back to the Midwest by a friend. Pours a light orange color with a rocky white colored head. Big aromas of orange peel, grapefruit zest and sticky resin. Lots of citrus zest, tropical fruit, light booze, pine sap and tangerine with a sticky caramel backbone. Very tasty. Glad to have tried it.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Can got provided by Steve, thank you very much!
Has a completely clouded orange-amber, peachy color with a decent, long staying, froth head.
Smells of grass, mixed with pine and dank, tropical fruits, foremost orange, nectarine and tangerin, due to the resinous maltiness.
Tastes much hoppier than the nose revealed, unleashing an hop onslaught on the palate from the very beginning, masterfully balanced by earthy white-bread malts, which receive a glazed accent, as the hops turn dry, parting from their grassy, slightly tropical initial direction. The fruitiness begins with ripe oranges, peach and tangerine, while more and more citrus peel gets added. While the malts are indeed capable of setting a counterpoint to the hops, they don’t got an overly sweet character to them, more like a biscuity earthiness - just the right amount to prevent this brew from being hop water. Finishes with a dry, long lasting grapefruit bitterness, coming along with quite a bit of pine and a distinct maltiness. Drinks overly smooth, while ending with an enjoyable, almost herbaceous, bitter hop bite, developing from the fruitiness, without swallowing all of its sunny components.

Thought I would finally rate this beer, so I opened another can! Pours a hazy pale orange. Delicious (and strong!) aromas of citrus and tropical fruit. The smell alone makes me love cracking open a fresh can. Absolutely delicious, complex, fruity flavor. This beer is unabashedly all about the hops. Extremely drinkable at 8%, like all of the best DIPAs. Simply excellent.

473 mL can. Cloudy golden amber pour with a nice thick off-white head. Aroma of some citrus malt, tropical fruit, resin and pine. Taste is caramel, then waves of hop goodness, pine mostly, some herbal notes too.

Pours deep gold, very little head, little flakes of hops. Amazing smoothness for an IPA. Best IPA I have had.
