Thanks to adamjackson for this awesome brew via trade. It doesnít look the part, but it definitely acts the part in every other category. First can poured into two pint glasses, one for me and one for my wife (hell of a post-baby beer!). Off yellow hazy pour with white head. Second one consumed from the can as advised by...the can. Smells like a dream orchard filled with ripe fruits: orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, hint of evergreen. Tastes more ripe than it smells. Perfect resinous hops intermingle with ripe citrus. Bitterness is very low and alcohol is remarkably unnoticeable 8%. One of the three best IPAs I have ever enjoyed.

Stuff is like eating a handful of hops with little bitterness. Get back to this review tomorrow when I have another.

Finally managed to get my hands on one of these and it was well worth the wait. Took a few sips from the can before pouring. Lovely dank, hoppy aroma with a slight tropical sweetness. Itís an explosion of flavour with piney bitter hops, mango, slight pineapple and slight citrus fruits. A lovely bitter and hoppy aftertaste works so well with the sweet fruitiness. So well balanced and more than lived up to expectations. Not too bitter, not too sweet and one of, if not the best DIPAs Iíve tried. No idea when this was canned but it tastes very fresh. Outstanding.

Originally reviewed on 8/3/2011. On tap at the Alchemist in Waterbury, VT. $4 for a 12 oz. pour. Canít beat that. Hazy orange body with a delicious white head. The beer sticks and leaves lacing all down the side of the glass. Waves of hop aromas. Unbelievably delicious citrus and floral hops. It has the strongest citrus hop aroma Iíve ever smelled. Great hop flavor up front that just lasts and lasts. Somewhere in the distance is a slight sweetness to balance it out. There is hardly any bitterness. Slick and easy to drink. A gulpable IPA. I put back 3 of these easily. The best IPA I have had and a great endnote for my east coast beer trek. Worth the drive and something I hope to get once it is canned!

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2015 [A PRESENT FROM BERLIN BEER WEEK,special thanks to eric]. From the can, i donít know how looks this beer. Grassy aroma on the first from the can, followeed by piney, citruss hops presence. A little bit of caramel too. Full flavored ipa, a lot of sweet bready malt on the first, little stop fuelled of tropical fruit, like anans, papaya, a little bit of mango. Re start with the citrussy notes, a lot of orange and grapefruit, suggestion of orange flowers. Infinitely final and aftertaste with thw grassy, piney notes. Dank on the palate, medium body and oily mouthfeel. What an umbelieveble beer. Beest DIPA ever. For sure. 😊 iím so glad of this present.

Canned. No clear date, but this was released within the week I believe, so itís fresh. I know it says drink from the can, so Iíll do some in the can, some out. Pours hazy unfiltered yellow with a very creamy white head. Aroma is fresh slightly dank hops, tropical fruits, mango, citrus, pineapple, grapefruit, piney resin. Flavor is just a burst of hops. Piney goodness, slight dankness, distinctly sweet note up front, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine note, tropical notes. In between the citrus and tropical fruits, thereís a distinct sweetness up front that continues into the middle. Not as sweet as Lawsonís Sip of Sunshine, but still not overly bitter at all. Not boozy. Super crushable. Nice sticky sweet mouthfeel. This is awesome. I could drink this all day. Normally Iíd sip a DIPA and just savor this, but this I just want to down immediately and crack open another!

473 mL can. Pours (sorry folks) deeply murky, green tinged burnt orange, almost opaque with hop and yeast matter with a massive head of lasting white. Nose leaps from the glass, dank and citrusy hops. Lots of pine, resin, grapefruit, orange, earthy spices, peach and some tropical fruit. Body is surprisingly light with average carbonation. Creamily textured, silky smooth and saturated with hop oils. Lightly sweet grainy and bready malt followed up with a massive hop bitterness that somehow remains dangerously drinkable. A class of itís own, a very different beast. Delicious.
