Thanks to adamjackson for this awesome brew via trade. It doesn’t look the part, but it definitely acts the part in every other category. First can poured into two pint glasses, one for me and one for my wife (hell of a post-baby beer!). Off yellow hazy pour with white head. Second one consumed from the can as advised by...the can. Smells like a dream orchard filled with ripe fruits: orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, hint of evergreen. Tastes more ripe than it smells. Perfect resinous hops intermingle with ripe citrus. Bitterness is very low and alcohol is remarkably unnoticeable 8%. One of the three best IPAs I have ever enjoyed.

Very pale opaque orange pour with healthy frothy white head a half inch high. Delicious juicy citrus aroma, bit of tropical fruits like pineapple too, pollen and lavender as well. Carbonation is average, nothing to note of mouthfeel, finishes crisp. Strong malt backbone, some herbals, bit boozy, acidic strong citrus that's slightly bitter. Dynamite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2016 Can from Bier Berlin bottle shop. Heavy hoppy aroma of citrus, grapefruit, peach, followed by nicely balanced caramel. Taste reflects the aroma. Medium body. Medium to high bitterness. Medium carbonation.

From a can. Hazy golden with a frothy offwhite head. Aromas of fruity hops, caramel, citrus, resin. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Medium sweet, heavily bitter. Delicious hoppy character into an exquisite finish. Extraordinary IPA,

1 pint can. A cloudy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus, especially orange, floral hints, pine and hops. Taste is bitter with some carbonation. Medium bodied, smooth and astringent with floral and very bitter finish. Perfectly balanced hoppy beer.

Stunning beer. Cloudy pale gold with a nice white head and moderate sticky lacing. The nose is grapefruit and pine with a sweet aroma in the back. The taste is amazing. Medium body, sweetness, citrus fruit and bitter pine. Really great beer.

A: cloudy; orangish gold in color; 2 finger ivory head that receded to a splotchy cap; nice lacing; A: pine, with tropical fruit and caramel behind it; much more distinctive in a glass; T: from the can, it follows the nose; moderate bitterness on the finish; aftertaste is somewhat sweet; in a glass, the flavor, while still nice, isn’t nearly as complex as it is from the can; sweeter all the way through; P: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish; O: having tasted these side by side, I definitely favor drinking from the can;

Harder to get every year but always worth getting. Easily one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Aroma is wonderful. Taste is unbeatable. Love this beer.

One of the best IPA’s I’ve had. Those Trillium brews have really skewed me on what is THE BEST though. Great look and aroma and awesome blend of citrus with a piney bite. Nice blend of new wave hazy and flavor of traditional standard. Got much better as it warmed up.

appearance: cloudy yellow gold, with a finger of thick, creamy white head that persisted and shrunk only slightly; good lace rings around the glass. aroma: up front it’s citrus first (lemon, grapefruit, some blood orange), then floral, then tropical (pineapple, mango), and then resinous pine, over a hint of pie crust and pepper. taste: the hops meld almost completely into a distinct whole, with elements of pine, grass, herbal, tropical, floral, and citrus hops all coming together into an earthy, funky, fresh, bright mix; there’s some malty sweetness and notes of lemon curd underneath to provide some heft. finish: dry, slightly chewy, with the hops and sweetness and a hint of alcohol all coming together with enough carbonation to keep the thing from crushing you. notes: It’s surprisingly drinkable and balanced, and the alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel felt almost grainy, but in a good way. Did not expect this to live up to the hype, but no kidding it actually did. Can from Paul at work, who is my new best friend.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2016 Can in Burlington poured into pint glass with commonmac and rosskyle and samadouche. Hazy orange with white head and excellent lacing . Clean funky citrus nose. Amazing taste from the start. Incredibly smooth, then citrus, clean subtle spice. Citrus funk, then well masked alcohol and hop. Sweet more than bitter. Alcohol comes out as it warms. Exactly what a dipa should be. This actually lives up to the hype.
