UPDATED: MAR 13, 2013 Nice rich golden-amber color with decent layer of sudsy off-white head. A floral, citrus-spiked sweet hop aroma and light maltiness which carries through in taste. " Waves" of hop flavors; floral then a bit earthy in the finish with some bite in the cheeks (so to speak). Really a great beer. Notes: I was fortunate to try it from the can and on tap at the pub back before the flood with some excellent food.

The aroma is heavy tropics. Flavor is hoppy but not as much as expected even though itís got a lot of flavor fooling around all the way into the after taste. Pine, bitterness and tropics. What stands out is how smooth and well balanced it is and still complex. Best beer in the world? No, but the best IPA Iíve ever had.

Can(s) from the recent Mikkeller Bottle Shop opening in Torvhallene, Copenhagen (both DFTC and via glass) - pours a glowing fuzzy golden orange colour with nice firm slowly dissipating white head and light lacing. Gorgeous tropical and citrus fruity with big in your face hoppy prominence, juicy and fresh with big hits of tangerine, grapefruit, mango, peach, resinous and grassy hoppy goodness, pine needles throughout, solid caramel malty backbone, lovely initial sweetness followed by a solid bitter finish. Immense.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2016 Can. Had it straight from the can as suggested on it so it could be black or red for all I know. :-D Fresh and hoppy aroma. Taste is sweet and resiny with a boatload of citrussy hops, pine and spices. Long-lasting bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Iíve had more hoppy beers than this, but this one IS very smooth, balanced and quite delicious to be honest.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2016 Can. Pours hazy golden with big creamy lasting head. Aroma is peach, dank hops, resin, green, citrus, pineapple, guava, tropical fruits, weed, orange and zesty spiciness. Taste is just the same. Resin, grapefruit, weed, oily texture from fresh hops, peach, melon, light spice. Really bitter and dry finish. Very crisp. Very good. Everything and more than i expected.

No need for another review of this beer. It's awesome and lives up to its hype. Go after it if you haven't had it. A+

Can. Pours hazy golden. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Taste is sweet and grapefruity / juicy with a piney grapefruit hoppy finish. It was worth the effort it took to get a can here in CO.

Got this one @ Szynkarnia Wroclaw: epic imperial ipa, really grassy and citrussy. Loved it.
