UPDATED: JAN 7, 2014 half from can, half from snifter. pour is cloudy golden straw with lots of sediment. aroma is strong tropical hops (fresh pineapple and mango?). taste starts with lightly sweet hops (citrus and tropical flavors) and trends toward piney hop bitterness in the finish. alcohol is barely noticeable. very enjoyable.

Opaque with an orange hue. Alluring nose has hints of sweet orange. Flavor is juicy and bright, and it’s loaded with notes of tangerine and grapefruit rind. Bitterness is balanced, and it lingers nicely. Malt side is cakey and doughy with a mild sweetness. Finish is yeasty with a nip of alcohol; more cloying than I like in an IPA. Regardless, this is some seriously tasty stuff.

Thanks Davido! Subtle, very nice. Malt at the start, biscuity, then hops creep up. Pine, resin, lots of grapefruit. Minerals. Great stuff.

Can from Village Market, Waterbury VT. Drank some from the can, then poured out the rest. Cloudy, orange gold. A film, and ring of white head. Nose has punchy, tropical fruits. There’s a herbal character to it, not unlike fresh hop cones. Some notes of orange zest and rind. Light malts, that come across sweet and biscuity. Taste is robust, slightly earthy, pithy bitter. Plenty of mouthfilling sweetness. Fullish body, with perfectly pitched carbonation. Finishes fairly long, pithy bitter. Very easy drinking.

Can shared at a tasting. 12 days out of the brewery. Thanks biirusaikou! Pours a lightly hazy honey colored gold with a big soapy head that lingers throughout. Lots of grapefruit with some grass, orange, lemon and light weed character. Medium body with medium to medium high carbonation. Super juicy and fruity with lots of bitterness on the palate. Great, refreshingly bitter finish that lingers on the palate. Surprisingly well-balanced and hides the abv well. Awesome stuff.

One of the best smelling beer I’ve ever had. Very light in color: pale yellow. It has a really good taste with the hops clearly coming through and over balancing the malt. I’ve had IIPAs that were much more balanced, but this is more hop-centered. Medium-bodied, lightly malted with good carbonation. I find the after taste to be an unpleasant abrasive bitterness that is not there for me in many other IIPAs. The aftertaste is enough for me not to rank it nearly as high as others in this category.

Puszka, 1 pinta.
Wygląd: Złote, lekko opalizujące. Piana biała, średnio-wysoka, ładnie firankuje.
Aromat: Intensywny chmielowy, żywiczny, leśny, lekko owocowy.
Odczucie: Wysokowysycone, ciało lekko poniżej średniego.
Smak: W smaku bardziej cytrusowe, owoce tropikalne niż żywiczne jak w aromacie. Goryczka spora choć dość krótka, grejpfrutowa. Alkohol nie wyczuwalny.
Całość: No bardzo dobra, wręcz wybitna DIPA. Profil czysto chmielowy ale świetny. To czego spodziwać można się po DIPA.

Puszka. Wysycenie niskie. Na finiszu długa, wytrawna, ściągająca goryczka. Piwo jest bardzo pijalne.

can. drunk from can as intended with just a small pour for appearance. a cloudy gold beer under a large, stable, creamy head. white grapefruit, grass, citrus and spicy hops in aroma. flavor has moderately high bitterness with enough light, fluffy, pillowy, vanilla malt flavors. hops are mostly light colored citrus and floral notes. hint of vegetal matter. nearly dry in the finish with a a medium body and highish carbonation.

Can shared by Jackl, thanks! Sweet malt and tons of fresh, bright hops. Bitter, with citrus and pine. Heavy palate. I expect this would give me a hop burn but there is enough sugar and sweet malt that it is not abrasive initially and very drinkable, even if heavy.
