May 18, 2008 On cask at the brewpub: Pours a transparent bronze with a creamy, clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale and crystal malts with a good, fresh grapefruity hop character. Body starts fairly full, smooth and creamy with a nice amount of malt flavor and bitter hop balance before a crisp, bittersweet finish. A nice APA.

May 15, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pale ale series. 40 IBU. Amarillo. Lace as always.Good bitterness. A good bitterness, and that dominates the balance.

May 11, 2008 Draft at the brewpub - Poured a nice amber gold in color with a medium off-white head that hung around for a while. Aroma was hoppy with a small hint of some caramel maltiness. Flavor was also nicely hoppy with a medium bitterness. Some maltiness appeared near the end. Quite good and very drinkable.
