Draft at the brewpub - Based on the porter. Poured a dark brown in color with almost no head and very little carbonation. Aroma was malty with not a small amount of spicy hops. Flavor is medium of roasted malts and caramel. The addition of the Red adds the hop structure to the porter’s maltiness. The Light Weight simply (and effectively) lightens the brew... very drinkable... easy going down. Very unusual compared to the quite singular characteristics of their regular brews... it does not fit a particular style, but the quality of the beers used to make the blend is undeniable. I liked it...
