2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. New arrival at the Coralville Liquor Store. Light gold body with a fluffy slightly off white head. The aroma is grainy with some fresh green beans and corn. The taste is fairly sweet with some notes of sweet potato and bell pepper. Slightly spice in the finish. Light carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Corny foreign lager aroma. Milky amber with a medium snow white head, good lacing. Thin body. Delightfully goood honey and corn flavor, honeysuckle finish. Actually quite nice. Very similar to Luksus and perhaps better.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is grains and tea-like but not quite. The flavor is heavy on the grains, along with fruit and a flavoring to the grains that I can’t quite place. Different and decent enough pale lager.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours a light golden body with a small white head. Nose is mild banana, grains, straw and hints of dusty hops and maize. Taste is grains, red berries, straw, pale malts and hints of grass and honey. Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Although this might actually display some "brewing flaws" regarding style (a bit too estery for a pale lager, for example) I’d say it lifts the beer considerably, from a regular boring pale lager to a rather tasty pale lager. Still, it’s a pale lager. They only go so far.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
568ml can from an offie in New Malden, 5%, 75 year edition. This was part of a ’buy 6 for Ł5’ deal. How anyone in the supply chain made any profit is beyond me. Anyway… this is golden yellow, clear, pretty much still, small foamy white head with nice lacing. Aroma is lemon juice, jif, estery bubblegum. Wasn’t expecting the frutiness. Body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is gummy bears, soft malts, simple sugars, biscuit, a little citrus, touch of spice towards the finish. A bit weird and estery for the style. Almost has some saison character. Pretty interesting.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
500ml can. Very pale yellow color. No head. Malty, corny aroma. Weak aroma. Malty, hop extract, corn in taste. Another typical macrolager.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle.Small very fizzy white head that quickly dissipated, spotty amounts of lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was hoppy, semi-sweet and some grassy notes. Flavor was hoppy, bitter, semi-sweet, and somewhat harsh tasting.Mouthfeel was spritey and medium in body.Did not enjoy the taste of this beer due to it being somewhat harsh tasting, boring nothing exciting about it IMO and not one that I recommend spending your time or money on.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Lithuanica, Birmingham. Doesn’t smell great - very sweetcorny. Very pale, little head. Taste is smooth with lots of cakey flavour and some dolly mixture. Perhaps a bit of candied fruit. Pretty light and easy to drink. Haven’t totally made up my mind here. It’s reasonable.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
50cl can from Riga Airport. Pours clear pale golden with a short lived white head. Lightly fruity aroma with pale malt and hints of cooked vegetables and hops. Medium sweet with a mild, but somewhat decent bitterness. Still a fairly standard pale lager. Utterly boring, but drinkable.
